The only sad thing about these battles is that they only had three measly heath points. Their design and overall fight was actually well done. It just suffered from extremely low health.

黃冠智 Really? Unleashed had a large number of easy boss battles. The only battles that were actually challenging included the Lancer, Dragoon, and Final Boss (all of the above applicable only toward the 360 version).

+CrimsonEbonyTears The thing is, Unleashed was a bit too high in terms of difficulty and the problem with both Colors and Generations are that they were too easy. I kinda wish there was one more boost style game that would've found the balance for that.

+黃冠智 I remember I sucked terribly at the Asteroid Coaster Boss. I own the DS version, and there, the Bosses have health gauges(with the exception of the Nega Wisp Armor and Nega Mother Wisp), and Boosting was the best way to get a Wisp, which in turn caused the most damage to a Boss.

黃冠智 CrimsonEbonyTears Lyoko Gem I have to agree with you guys. While I do love Unleashed and it's one of my favorite games to date, the bosses could be challenging at times since they gave you a better-than-piss-poor explanation on how to fight them. The hardest one was in the Perfect Dark Gaia fight where you have to mash the X button 60 times in ten seconds (I have the Xbox version). But then when Generations came out, the bosses were pretty easy. Even the Time Eater kinda felt like a joke after I kept playing the game. Sonic Colors was a beautiful game, and like you said, the bosses were really well designed, even in the DS version, but if you hit them with a wisp or a boost it's over like a minute after it starts. My record for the first boss is 22 seconds I think. Hopefully when Sonic Forces comes out they have the balance of not too tough, yet not a pushover.

In the DS version, it's still pathetically easy, but at least it's not 10 seconds. All you really need to do is Homing Attack the Globotron(DS version Boss), then after a short bit, use Burst to cause MASSIVE damage.

What I find to be the most important instrument in this is the siren that constantly plays in the background! It really gives you the feeling that you really broke into the sections where the boss is, or, as I first imagined, really feel the effect of the damage you've done to Eggman's amusement park of that area, and the boss is the reactor to it.With the tempo and tone given by the other instruments, you're on your toes trying to defeat the boss, and it's just chaotic all over the place. i know this is what the game pretty is about, but you gotta admit Ohtani did an outstanding job with this one!

I can't help but notice the orange wisp in the bottom right corner and the frenzy wisp isn't in this picture. By the looks of it, it is a scraped fire wisp and the frenzy wisp wasn't in the game originally. Edit: I posted this because I didn't see anyone else pointing that out. Edit 2: ok, found out that orange wisp is actually the burst wisp from the DS version which I never knew existed until a few months ago

Boss Rotatatron (Tropical Resort) This area's boss is a one-eyed robot named Rotatatron. The arena consists of a ferris wheel-like loop that extends all the way around the rest of the level, and platforms that orbit the center and spin occasionally. To attack the boss, the player has to either use the Homing Attack on the eye or use the Cyan Laser on any part of the boss (hitting the eye or arms is most effective). The boss attacks by grabbing at the player if they are on the frame or by shooting spinning shuriken-like bombs at them if they are on the platforms. The boss will be defeated after it takes 2-4 hits. Refreshinator (Planet Wisp) This Area's boss is called Refreshinator. It is quite similar to Tropical Resort's boss, Rotatatron, as it resembles a one-eyed, long-armed robot climbing on a Ferris wheel. However, this boss is more difficult, with quicker attacks and circular platforms. Sonic can use Pink Spikes to stay on the platforms. Refreshinator's eye is its weak point, and can only be damaged when it is open. When the boss closes its eye, it fires lasers in several directions that rotate around the wheel, causing the platforms to spin. It usually takes four hits to defeat Refreshinator, but it can be defeated in two hits using Pink Spikes.
