You got to admit, Bowser did a good job insuring his troops and family safety, from protecting some of them from Infinite's gravity attack, to destroy Metal Sonic in retaliation for hurting Jr., to literally jumping right in front of his army to protect them from the blast of the Death Egg. He really lives up to the saying: "A King is to his People." He gets a 10/10 for leadership and loyalty for that.

Doctor, the thing is that you *had* a chance to increase your probabilities of victory, when you sent Infinite to do the surprise attack. That could have been a decapitation strike for Bowser's Army's then and there. Problem is, Infinite is a sadist that loves to play with his food. So instead of using something like "Instant False Sun In Your Midst" or "And now Nuclear Explosions for Everyone!", he monologued and did an "Amplified Gravity Attack" that did kill two of the "King" titled minions of Bowser (King Goomba and King Bob-omb) plus some troops... and allowed the rest to brace themselves and for Bowser to protect them from the attack, right until the point King Boo KO'ed Infinite with a "Thwomp to the Head". And they asked the animator, the attack *did not* kill Infinite. Add Bowser permanently removing the Phantom Ruby from the play (so no Nightmare Eggman or Super Eggman via Phantom Ruby) and well, everything hinged of the Koopa Troops not having a counter for Metal Sonic.

On one side, a powerful spiked Beastial Being that mostly relies on natural ability and complicated schemes while being opposed by a human that relies on natural ability and simple tools. On the other side, a human that relies on complex machinery while being opposed by a Beastial Being that mostly relies on natural ability. Relying on complexity appears to be a weakness.

There are some things Death Battle missed like the party game Sonic Shuffle and its shenanigans, various characters being able to casually fight ghosts, etc. But I'm not sure if theres anything that would surpass Dreamy Bowser though.

35:12 yeah they missed a few Trump cards and even members of the eggman empire that could’ve helped in battle Like Mecha Sonic and E-101 Beta including Omega, sure he may hate eggman but he’s still apart of the empire. They forgot to mention the time stones and even the master emerald which is literally more powerful than the chaos emeralds, matter of fact the master emerald can EMPOWER the chaos emeralds into the super emeralds making them many MANY times stronger than their previous state. It’s what gives Sonic his hyper form his STRONGEST form yet.

To be fair eggman had to Jo n forces with Sonic to beat the metarex, but they do tend to leave out more important details sometimes. I like they make characters fight each other but I don't agree at all with the whole Goku vs Superman one. Sometimes it feels more of their personal favorite characters will win sometimes.
