Infinite is a pretty well written villain. In the comics he was hired to steal the phantom ruby from eggman and when he grabbed it, It showed a image, the image was what Infinite wanted, him giving all pain. Egg man saw this and recruited him, then shadow defeated him easily and said he was worthless. That drove Infinite to become the ultimate being so he would never lose again, what drives him is wanting to not be weak, to be the strongest, and when he losses, it pains him.

sega gave him a lot of potential with the initial game and then seemingly forgot all of his characterization the moment they gave him more content. like in the game its implied that hes like... a robot and was made by eggman. and charters talk about him like hes a invention and not a person with a powerful object. and the song works with that story. and then the comics and dlc just decide hes just some guy shadow beat up once.

Love this video and this character! Looks more like a awesome movie trailer!Sega should have given him better 😑. I know he's angry for the loss of his team and his self confidence as the ultimate Merc being shaken by shadow but come on Sega this character deserves better. At least build on his anger and motivations more and seriously he got sucked inside the phantom ruby!? What were y'all thinking? They even got a amazing English VA for him. Btw infinite is voiced by the man who va's twenty year old Walter from Helsing ultimate.

Shadow is the best hero, and Infinite and Mephilis are like the double best villains in the whole story. Sonic is not the best hero when we got Shadow, and who needs Eggman when got Mephilis or Metal Sonic when we got Infinite.
