The flashing worked on the old graphics, but just looks cheap on current graphics. ...which, I've just realized, means that it's probably how Sonic Team would have done it too.

@@PhirePhlame No it isn't. Looking at the Hyper Sonic mod, it isn't doing the flashing right. It flickers too quickly between too few colors with those few colors not being bright enough to be Hyper Sonic. If you want a reference to how a proper Hyper Sonic would look, just send me your Discord Tag. I have a GIF that is properly done of a Hyper Sprite. You'll be able to easily spot the difference.

@@spittin_BXRS even though that's true, they're not gonna do it. They're already trying to distance themselves from super sonic (with the chaos emeralds not being a part of the story in forces and all) so I doubt that's even going to be a thing soon.
