As we saw in Sonic Mania and the final battle of Sonic Forces, the Phantom Ruby is powerful, but not enough to takeover the world, hence why Eggman made Infinite's Phantom Ruby. I mean, base Sonic, both modern and classic, beated final bosses using the Phantom Ruby like an average adventure final boss. That should show the limitations of the Phantom Ruby, right? The only way for the Phantom Ruby to actually takeover the world is for it to aqquire a stronger energy source, like how the energy of the Chaos Emeralds allowed the Phantom Ruby to retreat to Modern Sonic's World, with Classic Sonic in tow.

@@playerblue3921 Eggman didn't make Infinite's Phantom Ruby, I have no idea where you got that from. He found the ruby when is went from Mania and appeared in their time. Modern and Classic Sonic didn't beat the final boss of their games like they were just another adventure boss, in Mania it actively harmed him causing him to lose rings even in a super state. In Forces it would've too had Super Sonic been a story thing and final boss. The Phantom Ruby can warp reality on a whim by itself, the prototypes which Eggman was developing couldn't. They needed a stronger energy source. The Chaos Emeralds didn't allow the ruby to go to Modern Sonic's time, it was the clash of energy from both the seven emeralds and the ruby that opened up a warp rift.

Geez this voice acting, two dudes trying their hardest to sound cool. They didn't even get Infinite's personality right. And people were praising this as Neo actually caring about Infinite and not throwing him aside when hes clearly belittling him and sees himself as the man on top. Which Eggman never even did to Infinite in the base game, they both had a level of respect for the other and never indicated once that they were going to betray each other. But y'know screw that right? The dynamic was just thrown out for the sake of another "thing Eggman uses betrays him" plot. This mod is not good lol.

@@dawningheart356 News flash, no one ever said or implied you can't enjoy this or something in spite of its flaws. That same exact argument can be used for vanilla Forces and literally anything. I'm saying and pointing out that it has many issues, some being even worse than Forces like the voice acting because people are acting like this is the best most perfect thing to grace humans. Infinite had a ton of personality in vanilla Forces, he genuinely had a respect for Eggman, for granting him this kind of power and for what he wanted to achieve. Eggman was powerful, so he took what was his, Infinite related to that. He was threatening and knew Sonic was no match for him with his powers. Even if he was sassy at times towards him, he still had that respect and Eggman had respect for Infinite, he never betrayed him and neither did Infinite ever indicate he was going to betray Eggman either. This mod throws that whole thing out the door for the sake of another "thing Eggman uses betrays him" plot and makes Infinite sound like such a try hard, same with his VA like what is that lol. Sounds like he's trying so hard to be cool and threatening.
