I have been looking for a mod that lets you fly around like a veritable god like he does in the boss fights. This definitely looks as if it'll scratch that itch. I clicked on this thinking it was a "better super sonic animation" mod and I got literally what I've been looking for since I got this game. I hope future updates add things such as his Susanoo-esque punches and kicks because going around killing things with a giant god fist is just awesome.

This looks like a very fun and great mod! Would definitely download! As for bugs...maybe you could look at the jump conditions - if grounded, set a variable that allows transformation to be disabled, and enabled if not? For loading saves, personally I'd have the game forcibly pull you out of super state before it loads the save. I don't really have ideas for other bugs, but I think you can work those out no problem!

Would be cool if you were able to add a toggle that enables/disables flying, maybe it's a cheap workaround to your one issue? Mechanically maybe kind of like in Mania's final boss? Regardless of that, this mod looks amazing, the screenshots people will get from photo mode and this will be beautiful. I wish you good luck!

Yeah the flying state / the physics are most likely the reason(s) why going on the ground is so janky. Problem is finding a way to properly disable and re enable that.

Seeing how super sonic moves around, it makes me believe that at some point in development, there would likely be a function that allows you to fight the titan's as base sonic. considering that super sonic's attacks are physically boosted compaired to Normal sonic's, I imagine that if you didn't have all the emeralds, you could do something similar to how you can fight ganon straight out of the gate, albiet 5 Times Harder since it becomes a boss rush.

For the custom animation problem, I think its possible to just have the rig be animated. Since some mods just slap the skin ontop but the animations still work. So maybe make the animation not specfic to that model itself, but just apply the animation to the rig so that it can snap to other skins as well. Thats just a hypothosis of mine though, im not part the frontiers modding scene. And even if that doesn't work, can't you add an option to turn the animation on and off for the mod? Also, when do you think the mod will be avaliable?

I feel like the titan bosses would be a little weird considering that they’re the points in the game where you are supposed to turn into super sonic, and turning from super sonic into super sonic would not be right. So maybe you could add your own version of hyper sonic like with the other super sonic mod, and maybe make him do way more damage and make him have way more speed. Just an idea for a future update, maybe after a release. Is something like that doable or is it too much? Like i said, just an idea.

But he's there at lv56, he practically kills enemies with 1 hit, maybe putting another mod on top would be good to use super sonic, like increases enemies' life, it would be cool, play with super sonic, do several combos, example lv1 da life, lv1 sonic, doesn't do enough damage to enemies, has maximum level anyway it will be hit kill, then it's not fun to use super sonic, unless people want to speedrun, it would be fun to see people play with super sonic, new game . My opinion.

I figure if they were to add it it'd be coming in update 3, though it would definitely have to be an unlockable that you'd get post game because this is just broken. Sonic at max attack stat does like 10 - 20 damage to guardians whereas Super Sonic does around 150 to 200 so he'd kill every mini-boss in like 2 or 3 hits, which is stupidly broken.

The Hedgehog Engine Modding Discord is the place to go where you will find all the resources needed: dc.railgun.works/hems It also depend on the type of mod you wanna do. For models, textures and music swap, some specific softwares exist dedicated for it. But for more complex mods like this one, it requires custom codes, which is done through DLL injection.
