This run looks so neat. In a casual run the cyberspace stages having red rings on the main path kinda sucks but it makes it easy to get every key in one run for speedruns so that's neat. I hope one of the larger speedrunners picks this up frequently enough that it can become a bit of a staple speed game. I really wanna see small ant run it haha.

Just finished playing Frontiers' Story Mode and gathering all collectibles today, decided to watch some Speedruns to get better at the Cyberspace- and Enemy-Challenges... But I didn't expect to see Players fly through entire Stages and skipping such large chunks of the Islands! I just had to subscribe, really cool stuff! 💙

It might be too much to ask, but if they give us an episode shadow, it should be in a dlc area in the normal world while the cast of frontiers are stuck on the islands. My ideal shadow story is metal sonic taking eggman's place while he's gone and shadow stopping him. There's a lot of potential for a good dynamic between the two of them

imma keep it a buck... Shadow is my favorite sonic character. but i think they def overuse him and stick him in games he doesnt need to be in. I think adding shadow here would just futher dilute him and make him less cool. i just worry they dont handle him well just generally.

I dont think we're 100% sure but it seems similar to when sound effects stack in older sonic games where it just amplifies them. Could be something getting stuck under him like a ring or maybe his bottom section getting stuck in the ground? all just guesses really

Curious, is the way you move across the map with the dashing back and fourth faster or just easier than drawing infinite with cyloop with max rings

Sidestepping is the fastest form of movement after being at top speed cause it allows us to go even FASTER then top speed if we hit a downhill or a speedpad. if you look at the speedometer, the needle will go past the blue bar. also really good for conserving boost! infinite boost funny enough is useless anyways since if you dont sidestep and just tap boost really fast, you dont lose speed or boost

I’m a Mario Karter. I have Frontiers and loads of other games, but the only games I speed run are Mario kart games. Thats the funny part! THERE IS NO STRAT LMAO The End is prevented from losing health at certain points so it can make it all the way through the monologue so we couldnt even do it faster if we wanted to. Hitting it with special just does nothing

i have this dlc officially on switch- i had to buy it from a specific website, have it shipped to me via proxy, and had to get the code to download the dlc from an email they sent to my proxy to put into the site as a key just to generate the dlc code. very convoluted, almost didn't get it because the proxy i used doesn't allow for digital content the way it was sent, but they bent the rules for me in this case.

Wyvern isnt so bad! just practice doing Cyclone Kick > dodge > Stomp > repeat and it should be pretty fast as long as you pay attention to the attacks you have to parry!

True Ending includes the bossfight with The End and is played on Hard. That is an alt ending to just doing a QTE and playing on Easy. On normal and easy you also dont hear the monologue with The End :)

Really not much honestly. We have to play on hard the whole time (which normally we play on Easy for Any%) as well as we have to fight the end but aside from that it doesnt change the run much at all

those are launches called HSP or Hedgehog Space Program. You can do it on any enemy that can be stomped after unlocking it in the skill tree. inputs are Dodge Roll > Stomp > Boost and if you do the boost the frame after stomp starts, you get the launch!

if im being honest i forget how getting 7 works but im not doing anything special. I think you get 2 bonus ones from doing all the missions in one go/retrying without exiting the portal. you can see we get 7 after every cyberspace stage in the run!

hey I'm trying to learn the 1-2 skip trick myself, I'm able to go on top of the collision without too much issue, but at 3:42 I'm having some trouble telling where the wall is, and also the parry sometimes doesn't allow me to jump again which is really throwing me off, do you have any tips for that? In this run you lock-on to the spring without even needing to jump after parry, how can I reach the furthest possible?

Lucky for you it’s very easy! Just beat Supreme on Hard difficulty. You can change the difficulty at anytime so you don’t have to replay the whole game if you don’t want to. It only matters that you’re on Hard before you fight Supreme
