Green Hill was in both the HD and 3DS versions of the original, and Radical Highway was the first stage where you could play as Shadow, so it makes sense to carry it over.

You know Sega Missed a Golden Opportunity to do A Shadow Generations Medley with any previous Shadow Vocal Songs that lead into a Shadow Generations stage Medley Finishing of with I am all of me all hail Shadow never turn back short vocal mashup ending at the credits instead of a Happy Birthday Sonic Shout that would have been so dope if Sonic Team put in that effort.

I always look back and think about how strange the stage selection in 3DS is. Green Hill Casino Night is reasonable. Its the second stage so it shouldnt be too tough. Mushroom Hill is where it gets odd because you realize they went straight to S&K and skipped ALL of Sonic 3. Hydrocity was right there. At least we got Big Arms. Emerald Coast is what I think is a solid level choice for a mid-game stage. It's the first stage you play in Sonic Adventure, and it's a recognizable stage. Then we get even stranger. Radical Highway. I see the infamy it has, where its the first area you play as Shadow, but Sonic is absent from it. Something like Metal Harbor could've fit in, too. Same story goes for the Biolizard. Sonic never fought him. Shadow did. Water Palace. I like this, though. It's one of the two handheld stages in the game. I get a lot of joy trying to reach sub-1:20. Tropical Resort is also a reasonable choice. It adapts a lot of Colors DS and also makes it a fun boost stage. It's Colors DS down to the music.

I really like this, I'll give this a 10 out of 10. I don't know if anyone would agree for Frontiers, I would have chosen "Find Your Flame." Don't know if everyone would agree but I feel like it would fit more with the vybe. I also would think "Stardust Speed" would be good to add too. Either way, it's a 10 out of 10.

I would argue I would also add a bit of Sonic Youth by Crush 40 in the credits song. They were criminally missing from the original Sonic Generations OST (excluding Jun Senoue's solo work). And Sonic Youth feels like it would fit as the main song for Sonic Generations had they gone that way.

The transition between emerald coast and speed highway could have been better because in the original speed highway blended in and started while sky sanctuary was ending. I also would have preferred if the transition between rail canyon anid water palace had rail canyons ending riff and it is a shame to not have as good as a transition as seaside hill to crisis city when water palace just cut ended, in shadows story crisis city came first so I would say you should put it before crisis city and maybe you should have used the shadow generations remixes of the songs so it’s consistent with the original and maybe you should have used the shadow generations remixes of the songs so it’s consistent with the original but aside from that this is cool and these are just minor nitpicks

En defensa de Lost World, ese juego era en un punto de la historia que Sonic no había llegado [su último juego fue Sonic Colors para aquell entonces, que salió a la par con Generations], y Shadow nunca visitó Héxagon (por eso a tanta gente le pareció raro que Shadow visitara Chaos Island, pues nunca lo visitó como tal), pero lo de CD si me parece una ofensa que no pusieran más representación a dicho juego además de Metal Sonic :(
