I can just imagine the Time Eater going even further by absorbing villains and creepy characters from Sonics past and modern life. Like the fun is infinite sonic,Mephiles,Wechidna,Infinite,and many other creepy and evil characters from his life. Each time you hit the Time Eater,another character is freed. That'd be epic to see!

Except Infinite would not be present, as Sonic Forces was released in 2017, while Sonic Generations was released in 2011, Wechidna is a glitch character, thus it's very unlikely that It's an official character to Sonic Canon.

Not really, the two tracks for the Time Eater were named as Phase 1/2 at the time instead of Classic/Modern. Doesn't really matter though.

I can almost imagine the Time Eater having a badass second phase with this playing in the background as well as a setting that's inspired by the scene where Spiderman fights Dr. Strange in Spiderman: No way home, only this time, it's the stages that you've played through (depending on which version of Generations you're playing) being torn up by both Classic and Modern Eggman's tampering with time and space. Matter of fact, I would love to see more boss fights in futrue Sonic games and future Sonic fangames that are inspired by fight scenes in movies that have interesting settings, that would be pretty cool see and experience through gameplay

Yeah sure the boss is easy and most people replay it in hard mode if they play it again but I think the theme of the entire timeline and animals lives being at stake makes this theme more fitting than forces' final boss theme

I always felt the Time Eater had more potential considering in Sonic Forces both Dr.Eggman and infinite were defeated without the use of the Chaos emeralds. Sonic literally got clapped by the time eater in first encounter and the Second until he whipped out the chaos emeralds.
