Thank you! I just use the term "Overdrive" to describe boost-drifting in a restricted 3D area, which allows Sonic to move faster than normal

How did you rail switch at 2:40? I keep pressing right but Sonic just stays on the right rail.

Try holding down the input to rail switch to the right. Slowing down a bit might also help

@@SonicTeamHero Silly me, I misworded "left" with "right" when asking my question, ironically enough I actually had to press right to switch from the bottom route to the top route, instead of rail to rail from the same route. Fun Fact, "Holding the input" is actually a mechanic called Buffering, where you hold an input before a certain move can be pulled off, originally coined by Competitive Smash Bros players.

I can't do this. Everytime I try to get a better time in a stage, I get F over due to the anxiety and the game screwing me over and it seriously pisses me off sometimes. Like yall have no idea how many game overs and restarts I have in this game, just to surpass my old time
