Surprisingly enough, power types are really good for getting the chaos emeralds. I guess their good enough speed and wider range of balloon collecting makes them really great, especially with the finicky controls.

We can all agree with an igniting passion the Sonic Heroes Special Stages are the worst. But the reason I think so is yes the controls and set up, but in terms of what order it goes in, it's just not right. The Seventh Emerald is the easiest to obtain, yet the Third Emerald is the hardest!

The third one is easy to get into if you think of which team you choose. Team Rose has a challenge mode where you collect 200 rings,so if you get the key before that, you can get to the Special Stage fast and easy, especially when you're in a Casino stage.

One of my favorite games of all time. The Gamecube version is magnific! 480p and perfect 60fps made the game better than ever. In my opinion still holds up almost excelent this game, even with its little flaws.

I'm not the biggest fan of Sonic Heroes, but I highly recommend the GameCube, Xbox and PC versions of the game because the PS2 version of this game has really bad frame rate issues, bugs and glitches.

Saturday, July 6th, 2024 at 9:46AM, 20 years ago I truly miss playing this game as a 14-year old teenager on the Gamecube in the Spring of 2004. I got this incredible gift for my birthday back then as well as Sonic Battle on the Game Boy Advance! This iconic game beat out all the Mario Games during the gamecube era for me to this day, sorry not sorry Mario Kart Double Dash. The memories😢 Sonic legacy has been ruined since 2010 to the present now.

Probably my favourite special stages after playing the pc port. I’ve always had problems with the console versions with kid me and now even current me fighting the special stage controls, especially on the ps2 port lmao. I don’t get any problems with the pc port at all, and that makes it so much more fun. And the hype music getting my heart pumping every time with each of these makes them even better

I think it was when I was getting the fifth chaos emerald on the GameCube version, that was buggy as hell, it felt like there was something just keeping me at bay right when I got close enough to the emerald...well some how I over bugged the stage and out of nowhere I was flung right at the emerald faster then sonic's level 3 speed booth, I was confused as all hell but was like "whatever, I'll take it"

So let I get this straight, you have to beat the special stages only once no matter what team you play as? If you beat them all as only one team, then you don't have to do it over again as each team, right? If so, then I don't need to worry about it. After collecting all the chaos emeralds as only one team, then I'm good.

These stages are the absolute worst. The physics are wack, the act of moving side to side without hitting a mine or slowing down for no reason is borderline impossible, and especially the Emerald Challenge, the Emeralds move WAY too fast. Is there an easy way to beat these?
