I don't want to support AI voice theft and it kind of seems like that's what's going on here, bulk of these lines were reused from elsewhere but some lines are clearly completely new like Silver's level up and shadow referring to silver at points. I thought of a name for the team, Team Time. Sonic represnting the present, with his living in the moment lifestyle. Shadow representing the past, with him using his past to motivate his heroism. Silver representing the future, and his will to protect it.

You know, seeing Seaside Hill at sunset reminded me that Team Sonic's story DOES start at sunset, and in a rocky canyon no less, makes me wonder if some of Sonic Heroes' monotony couldn't have been eased by each team going through the levels in a different order ala Sonic Adventure 1. Team Sonic starting in a (much easier) Rail Canyon, Team Dark and Team Chaotix in Grand Metropolis (which would facilitate them running into each-other for their fight) and Team Rose starting at Seaside Hill. You know, each group starting where.. their opening scene seems to suggest they would.

Unfortunately that was probably a hardware/design limitation, considering every level would have to have 4 radically different versions otherwise the difficulty curve would be a weird sine wave. Also the 4 starting levels would probably have to be Rail Canyon, Egg Fleet/Energy Plant, Seaside Hill, Energy Plant respectively, and Egg Fleet kinda has to be last.

Yes it is, sometimes he sounds weird when saying different types of lines. Not all are AI, some lines are taken from 06. Hear them closely

I can tell that Silver’s voice clips are a combination of 06 voice clips (Pete Capella) and AI with replaced lines originally for Tails and Knuckles. There’s also the occasional Quinton Flynn voice clip from Generations and Rivals 2 for Capella. Whereas Sonic and Shadow are mostly from Heroes but also have some AI voice clips when mentioning Silver by name (with the occasional Jason Griffith voice clips from Shadow).

Well played, it always feels good to see someone other than me use Blue Tornado as a double jump. Quick tip; all Speed Types gain wind properties on their Homing Attack at Lv.3, so you can just Homing Attack poles to go up them (it will even blow away enemy shields).

I know this is gonna sound weird but 0:10 it's always satisfying to watch shadow run in this stage because his skating arm swings match this stages music perfectly, like he's jamming to the song as he runs. Just a small thing, but I always liked that.

There's lots of little things like that in Heroes. When I was a kid I would always replay Grand Metropolis with Team Dark and act like they were the futuristic version of Team Sonic. I found there's a stunt ring in the level that matches up with Shadow's dialogue where he says "No problem, let's get moving" and when you do the stunt with the ring while he says it, it looks so sick. Heroes was my first Sonic game, so I didn't know much about the lore at the time, and now I know Team Dark is a completely separate set of characters, but it was fun making up little adventures in the levels and just messing around as a kid.

I’m very thankful for this being recommended to me! This is truly a work of art, Shadow being a power type and flinging around Sonic and Silver as spinball projectiles looks silly at first but actually works and is badass and the level up moves too! Silver being a fly type works great too! The different times of day in the levels really give them a different feel and vibe, I think that’s neat, I love Seaside Sunset and Nighttime Ocean Palace! This all just makes me want a Heroes 2 more.

Silver as a flying character makes insanely good sense. Even more than Tails. The Thundershoot attack with his Psychokenisis is more understandable than Tails never skipping leg day. I also like how Shadow is the power character over speed. He isnt as fast as Sonic in the first place, but he is more aggressive. Great job

Sonic 06 had so much potential I hate that it was a rushed/incomplete masterpiece BUT I’m grateful they used it as a stepping stone to set up the best Hogs in the franchise. Silver got his introductory from it but I love how Generations gave Silver a deep revamp since then. Hopefully in Shadow Generations when Shadow fights Silver (which is canon) we see more of what Sega upgrade more fleshed out. But a Sonic Heroes 2 or Silver the Hedgehog game is heavily needed

sonic heroes its so underrated, not because the game is better than people said, the game have a lot of flaws and you could say is bad without much problem, but for the aesthetic, the levels, the beautiful graphics, be the first sonic game made after sega stopped making consoles, the chance to use 12 characters (or 3 characters with 4 skins each) the plot was not the best but was a nice light plot after the seriounes off the two sonic adventure games and before shadow the hedgehog, was a nice era for being a sonic fan, a lot of relases in the early 2000
