For the record when a speed character is fully leveled up their homing attack has a wind element to it like the tornado jumps and rocket accel In sections with poles where Sonic was level 3 it would have been much quicker to just jump dash next to it

The player is fully aware but the problem is that sometines bugs out and seds you flying and that would be a waste of time especially if it happened near a cliff.

Speed Character Level 3: Wind Flying Character Level 3: Thunder Power Character Level 3: Fire Sonic and Shadow, Tails and Rouge, Knuckles and Omega, and Big and Vector all have the similar moves and properties. Amy and Espio, as well Cream and Charmy have similar moves, but different properties. Sonic and Shadow are similar in literally every way in this game, except for the way they run, same goes with Tails and Rouge where they would throw 3 fake rings when their Speed and Power teammates are out. Knuckles and Omega are melee type Power characters, but Knuckles have a different finishing move compared to other Power characters, and a unique move where if you mash Square button, he will eventually smash the ground twice in a row. Big and Vector are also similar in almost every way, but Big has different properties on his Level 3 finisher compared to others, where other Power characters' Level 3 finisher would emit meteor and lava while his wouldn't. On the other hand, Amy and Espio have the same moves, but totally different properties. Pushing Square button would make Amy swing her hammer, while Espio throw his shuriken. Pushing Square while jumping would make Amy launch tornado forward, while Espio emit tornado and turn invisible. Cream and Charmy are similar to Tails and Rouge except for their attacks without teammates, but Charmy is the only Flying character to be able to open a portal. On a side note, every team also has different effects after Team Blast. Team Dark's would ~unleash ZA WARUDO!~ stop the time for about 5 seconds. Team Rose would trigger invincibility and speed up (something Team Sonic should actually have triggered). Team Chaotix would earn rings for every eggman robots they destroy during Team Blast. Team Sonic may not have any uniqueness, but its Team Blast can be done once again right after by pressing certain buttons.

Team dark focuses more on beating a lot of enemies (hence the secondary missions, which make even more sense when you realize omega is probably going out of his way to destroy them all, rather than taking the direct route) and while this also adds more enemies, not only are there even more than for team DARK, this also adds a lot more pits from what I can tell.

There is a strategy of switching between characters while holding the grind button on the rails to quickly build up your max speed even when you're not moving in the first place. I have no idea how it works though.

This is great, just one thing that could have saved time. At level 3 Sonic (if not all speed characters) can just air dash into a pole and h'ell go up it. It does save seconds XD. Anyway, nice run.

On some levels,, the layout changes a bit, for example, in normal seaside hill, there would be a ramp that boosts you at 0:35 but there's actually a spring so you have to do the light speed boost to get to the other side. I hope i'm not wrong...
