I love how the first stage had both the US and JP present of Palmtree Panic, and also the past version of both as well. Being that the past themes are shared across both soundtracks. Which now that I think about it, would be slightly jarring for anyone playing with the US soundtrack since the past themes are based off of the JP soundtrack. Also the bosses in this game are amazing. The creator definitely put extra effort into making them.

One thing that really puts me off hacks is that they reuse the same boss battles and things from the original games. But I am happy that this one had managed to come up with it's own original boss battle instead. I think this is actually the first hack that I have seen which does this.

Perhaps people should just give up and not even try to improve upon things or to better themselves or to make anything great because it is just to much hard work. In fact why don't we just stop trying to make hacks and fan games in the first place because it is so difficult, and just settle for the old games which are already there and never strive for something more. Or better still, why not just settle for some of the more recent games like Sonic 06 because they fit in with our attitude so well as fans and gives us everything that we could ever want from a Sonic game, and are a true landmark of how games should really be when we do not push ourselves so hard that already gives us everything that we could have ever really hoped for...

+Lamp Skewed Oh I see. But I use the term 'recycling' as a loose term and a figure of speech to describe the unfortunate state of most hacks, whatever the reason may be. I am aware that this is due to the technical limitations mostly (which is why I am not a huge fan of hacks), but I do not believe for a moment that this is the only reason why this is so because there are hacks out there that have managed to be mostly original and have even included fairly original boss battles sometimes too. Also you will notice that when I use the term 'recycling' I am not just referring to reusing some parts of the old games but rather reusing most of them to the point where there really isn't that much which is original about the hack, such as just changing some names and color pallets or something like that, in my opinion this is a bit pointless. But it is not only hacks that do this either, I have also seen many fan games which re-use a lot of things from the older games and end up coming off as being quite cheap and uninspired. I can understand that to make something like this takes a lot of effort and hard work to do and that sometimes it is just easier to re-use some stuff, but I really don't think that it works that well unless it is done in a very good way and there isn't as much of an excuse for it than there is with hack. I believe that if you are going to spend your time doing something like that then you may as well go all the way and try to create something that is original, because the effort will pay off a lot more.

This hack is awesome compared to Sonic 1 Remastered for both Genesis and 32x. I loathe Sonic 1 Remastered. That is a sick game. I mean what were they smoking? "F" and "S" words are seen at the end credits. Now these guys that made Sonic Mildness have brains, which makes this hack playable.

This game has a fetish for Eggman monitors. They are everywhere. They even hid one behind a bush in one of the acts of Palm Island, which is just unfair and evil, because you can't even see what sort of monitor it is and you get punished for being curious to see what's behind the bush.
