This play through is a work of art. I have never seen someone conquer these games harder, not even myself, and I used to play these all the time....I am in awe. Also, this game LOOKS AMAZING, there colors are so vivid, like when Robotnik shows up and you can see the shades of brown in his mustache, like in game, not the cutscenes. Also, seeing Labyrinth Zone somehow manage to run fast and not lag at all was wild, like seeing another dimension.

I just purchased Origins Plus last weekend... Had a Game Gear and Mega Drive decades ago as a kid, but the GG stopped working and the MD with all its games was lost in a housefire at my cousin's... Can't wait to be able to play all these oldies again on the Switch now haha :) PS: what were these Star boxes that you found (but never took) in some of the acts ?? This game looks great! Especially now that you could play with Amy and knuckles in the of the sonic games. I think Sega should have updated the graphics though. I love sonic games and I have all of them for my Nintendo GameCube, PS4, Sega Genesis ect. I feel like I'm just buying the same sonic game over and over. The movie scenes are amazing though. I love the animated movies scenes 🎮🎮 GREAT VIDEO

To those without access to a PC this is a surefire way to play the games... But there are still the shotty collision moments and those damn ceiling spikes in Metropolis zone. But those are my only complaints besides the MJ music being wiped from existence. I still listen to those tracks on a YT playlist when I get to those moments in the game though. (The music is here, but only because you're playing with mods on the PC version) Overall I still had a blast with this. I'm glad I waited for a plus version and didn't get ripped off like some others did.

The character sprites look different from how I remember. In 1, I think Sonic's been changed to be a darker blue and have a more prominent smirk. In 3&K, Enemy Knuckles has green socks instead of yellow. Even Sky Sanctuary has been changed. Is this modded? Am I going crazy?

Nope, that's just the mods he's using. From what I can tell, the sprites of each of the characters in each game are different, the tracks for Carnival Night, Ice Cap, and Launch Base are swapped with the OG MJ Tracks, and the new Super Sonic Theme(for S3&K) is swapped with a different rendition composed by someone to make it sound better.

I was on the fence about this compilation collection and while appreciate the video clip overall it's also made my choice of not getting this compilation collection. The reason being I can already play these games on past and current collections already and there's really nothing new to make a repurchase necessary. Also with the Switch version collection you still have to download over 80% of the compilation as it's not on the cartridge so why bother getting a physical copy of the game?

i got sonic origins on my 10th birthday, the I started with sonic 1’s classic mode, and ended at labyrinth zone act 1 with 3 emeralds. i continued the run with tails in anniversary mode with all chaos emeralds. i first started sonic 2 in anniversary mode as sonic & tails, some of the special stages were hard, but after learning not to do the third special stage, I moved on. death egg was hard enough since you don’t have rings and need to fight 2 bosses. after that I played sonic 3 as knuckles then stopped at marble garden getting stuck with the spinning tops. switched to sonic & tails, got all chaos emeralds, but suffered getting super emeralds, then wasted 8 minutes in sandopolis, after that, I got _good_ and beat the game. also, is there another type of video, but doesn’t just use super/hyper in the act it was obtained?
