And now he makes Soundtracks for: Midsommar, Returnal, Paper girls, Blue beetle...What an Carrer! Love you man!🤘

His Anatomy of a Synthesizer soundtrack he did for the Trent Reznor interview is one of the best mist atmospheric things I've ever heard.

@@mosstet I couldnt find it either straight away, but if you look on KZbin for Archetype of a synthesizer you get an EP. I didn't know it either but have been a great fan of Haxan Cloak. Such refined soundscapes.

Ravens Lament is one of the most powerful pieces of music I’ve ever heard. The mans music is incredible. The darkness and mood in it is so intense. He was the perfect choice for the Midsomer soundtrack.
@wulfshead3 жыл бұрын
The man is a genius. I first heard Haxan Cloak when the first release came out. A friend had a promo of it and basically said, "you need to hear this". Needless to say, I was blown away. He makes some of the most movingly dark music I've ever heard. It's fantastic that he's doing so well with his S/T work now as well. Midsommar for one is utterly stunning. He seems very down to earth and chilled, but you can tell theres a darkness there, and it comes out in his music. The man can do no wrong in my eyes.

His eponymous record is one of the darkest and most beautifully fucked up albums I know of and I listen to it all the time. I also really like the collaboration he did with The Body.
@amphitheatre7 жыл бұрын
that body record is something i listen to a lot. probably their best album. haxan solo is good too.

This latest ´Excavation` album does it for me. The most concise he´s ever done so far ... I even like what he co - wrote/produced with Goldfrapp to be quite honest.

'when the goosebumps come on your arms and you want to sit there and listen to it loop for 20 minutes' oh boy i feel this. also excavation is an absolutely stunning album.

amphitheatre I seriously doubt that he does. He just did the Midsommar score and soundtrack. He does a lot of stuff like that on top of releasing music. But then again, this guy is on another level. This video doesn’t show it as much but his sound explorations are extremely complex.
