Fast, intuitive and fun - so feature rich. The drum machine I've been waiting for. Processing it through my eurorack system has just been a delight, treat it like a raw oscillator people with the assigned outputs and you will be rewarded! @@teebeedahbow I think so too! Its become my favorite drum machine since I commented. Its by far the most inspirational drum machine that I have outside of a DAW allowing for a ton of creative sounds and the ability to morph between sounds. I'm still getting to learn it admittedly but its a step apart from other drum machines (and I wouldn't be surprised if they start to mimic some of the features in this)
@teebeedahbow3 жыл бұрын

Hey guys, so how is it going so far? It seems a beast. I think it might be my first synth other than PO (I just started to make music)
@Dea_Decay2 жыл бұрын
@@Crypto2638 Still absolutely love it. I've used it on some of my tracks and just can't get enough. It is more of a drum machine than a traditional synth but you can get some cool synth sounds out of it as well, depends on what your looking to do though. Drums, even bassline stuff great, but if you want like really lush chords, pads, swells, etc. it wouldn't be my go to. That said if you've been using PO's this is a great step up and will probably have a lot of familiar stuff. Maybe not as many built in like stutter fx and other performance tools some of the PO's have, but a much bigger range of sounds, and sound shaping ability for sure.

If There's any plans for another LXR-02 firmware update, can we have independent Attack/Decay envelopes for the two oscillators that constitute the snare sound? At present, there's only a crossfade between the two sounds but nothing to change the length of the white noise independently from the body of the sound. Also, a few more LFO shapes (e.g. Logarithmic/reversed logarithmic and even just single up/down curves) would be really helpful for sound design. It would also be helpful if the pitch modulation section had a second page where the pitch direction goes from low to high. The existing pitch modulation is great for adding snap to kicks and snares but a pitch modulation working in the opposite direction would be really great for cymbal and gong sounds.

Hi there. I'm starting with this excellent little box but I need help changing the scale of my pattern please. How do you write a rhythm on 2 beats over 16 steps or 12 steps? Let me explain. what I want is to have the first beat on the first step, the second beat on the ninth step for a writing on 16 steps. And the same thing for a ternary writing on 12 steps, the first beat on the first step and the second beat on the seventh step... This is not explained in the manual or in any tutorials. I hope you can understand what I want to do? Like on Old Roland TR. Thank you for your answers friends.
