I love how they showcase Shadow sweeter side. It’s so easy for people to pretend that shadow is just a two dimensional edgy rival, but in true, if he does have a pretty big heart under that hard exterior. I mean, he isn’t even that close friends with Amy, and Shadow still paid attention to her enough to know exactly what Amy’s favorite band was and went out of his way to get her tickets to their very expensive concert just because he wanted to make Amy happy. Considering even Tails, it didn’t seem to know what Amy’s favorite band is, that really shows how much of a good friend Shadow is.

Watching Mat and Ash do this Sonic Mystery series is very fun. It'd be interesting to see more puzzle/mystery game stuff, like Ace Attorney. Those games have fun character dialogue that would be 10x more hilarious if Mat and Ash voiced over them.

This series is instantly one of my top favorites that you've done! This episode in particular, starting with the jokes about Rouge's innate ability to be the "distraction" and ending on such a sweet note; getting to see Shadow's softer side. Combine that with all the jokes about MattyPatty's ineptitude and the "Hierarchy of the Rich", and you've got one "one hour and thirteen minute" train ride that you won't want to miss.

The description of Shadow you were looking for Mat is "The Ultimate Life-form". That's right, he wasn't just engineered to be the supreme form of hedgehog, but of ALL LIFE IN THE UNIVERSE. Ego runs HARD In the Robotnik line lol. Although, to be fair, shadow survived a freefall from outer space to the surface of the planet without any injury other than temporary amnesia, so if he isn't the ultimate life form, he must be pretty dang close.
