I had a weird glitch with this video where for some reason after exporting my video from Premier Pro all of my pages some how got mixed up which is why for some reason there's a page with Robotnik at 5:48 for example lol. Actually, in the Reboot, we were introduce to Madonna Garnet. The scrapped girlfriend of Sonic from the production of Sonic 1. While it's not canonically confirmed, it's possible they used to be a couple until Sonic ended the relationship for many good reasons. I believe she joined the GUN so she won't be a damsel in distress anymore and hope her ex gives her a second chance. Sonic probably never mentioned her to Sally and gang for the same reason he didn't mentioned about Breezie. He was too embarrassed about it. That, and she's a Human.

Pretty sad that Sonic and Sally stuff never get a conclusion. But I know that if the Super Genesis Wave never hapenned they would just undo her robotization and they'll get together in the end because it's the future of that timeline (even if the script of this future is weird and all, but it's still the future of that universe)

@@FantasticSamtastic I can live with the end of the arc made by the Archie Sonic Hedgehog Online team. It's not official but c'mon dude, at this point this make any difference? Like, Sega and Idw will never touch in this timeline again I guess, and for me it's just a different group of writers following the continuity of the universe like Ian Flynn did before. Sega is doing a lot of good things for the fandom, and I'll not get surprised if they consider this fan sequel official someday

Should mention that the stuff with Bunnie had all happened while Antoine had been secretly replaced by Evil Antoine/Patch from Anti-Mobius, which was why Bunnie had broken up with him. Not even Evil Sonic/Scourge knew about the Antoine switcheroo at the time.

Plus Sally was a good contrast from his cocky attitude with her serious nature and could be the leader the freedom fighters need while sonic being more of the hero fighter

While I have played a lot of Sonic games over the years, the Archie Comic was my favorite form of Sonic media growing up. I loved the complex stories and romance bits especially as it helped make all the characters feel more three dimensional. Many game characters were also better portrayed thanks to Ian, who was writer for the better parts of the series.

Honestly, having been exposed to Sonic largely through the SatAM cartoon, I always had this inexplicable fondness for the Sonic/Bunnie ship. Maybe it's because she was the "normal" one compared to Sally and I couldn't see a freedom-loving drifter like Sonic really being happy with Sally after she retakes the throne, maybe it was just because I liked the speedster guy/strong gal dynamic, maybe it was just because I found Bunnie more appealing than Sally, I don't know, but I've always been a little bummed that the comics never really did anything with it, especially since they literally set it up from Bunnie's intro. I still like Sonic/Sally, but Sonic/Bunnie and Sonic/Blaze will always be my personal favorite Sonic ships.

I believe that if it's given to the right people the romance thing can work, sure it went too far in some respects, (I mean it is Ken Penders) but when it's down right it really worked. I grew up with Sonic the Comic and AOStH as well as SATaM and only recently starting reading the Archie stuff. If anything the Archie stuff started out played for laughs but then it got quite serious in some places and some of the storylines were engaging, like The Iron Dominion arc. Also Sally was quite fleshed out and I can understand why she is the de facto love interest as she has a fully fleshed out back story. Archie did a lot more of building out Sonic and Sally as a complex couple. I just wish the Archie series was a bit darker like Sonic the Comic.

I feel really weird about the fact that Bunnie and Sonic had an... intercourse, to put this way. By the time of those events Bunnie already dated Antoine, which basically means that she cheated on him. And they still got married in the end because Antoine's father told him to forgive her for they should cherish each other! I understand that Ken Penders probably wanted to portray Sonic as a womanizer, but it costed portraying Bunnie as a hooker. I just feel like a can't fully appreciate Antoine and Bunnie as a couple, though I like both of them as characters.

Not going to lie, Sonally and Sonamy are still in a war right now. I see many fan fictions about Sonamy, making Sally the villain (she is my favorite character, and her being the villain makes me uncomfortable), and then you have the Sonally fan fictions. And guess what? Amy is sort of the villain. I like it better when Sonic, Sally, and Amy were just friends (Sally is one of Sonic's closest friends, I assume). But either way, thanks Ken Penders, for these stupid and cringy romance comics.

How DARE you call the Ring of Acorns a "magic ball"?!?! Just kidding. I think this video was a pretty great little summary of romance in the Archie Sonic book, although maybe the infamous slap would've been worth mentioning. I think you plugged some other videos pretty well, although maybe thats just my nostalgia for the StH footnotes saying to buy other issues. The comedy and editing in this video were both good as well. Overall I think more videos in this style would be a good idea. As for suggestions, I think I may have said it before, but a Mammoth Mogul vid would be cool, and my other, newer suggestion is a video on the different alien races in the Archie continuity (maybe stick to preboot? IDK) This video is a 5/5 from me. P.S. Is "romanic" in the title meant to be a pun or is it a typo? If it's a pun, could you explain it to me? Thanks.

I want Archie comics to reboot their sonic universe like with the new ultimate Spider-Man. I want sonic to be older and more mature. I want the stories to be a bit more mature while keeping the spirit of sonic in tact. I want all of the Archie characters to return with mild changes and to be the same as before. I want sonic to be more relatable and to be willing to kill his enemies if necessary. I would also like for the idw characters to appear in this universe. 😊
