Incredible scoring and vision! So beautiful and grand, excellent orchestration, really epic! I am unfamiliar with Sonic, but this could work excellently in many places. I can feel John William's presence here, but touches of other great composers! I long to be able to score in this way, it is one of the crowning achievements in music composition. The opening was magical, the horns theme, followed by the response of the strings was powerful! 0:20 to 0:24 was brilliant, one of the highlights, followed by the b-phrase response in 0:25 to 0:27. 0:31 to 0:33 was something grand. I love the woodwinds with the pizzicato and harp, it works so well! 1:10 was powerful, and the variation immediately afterwards was stunning. Instant subscribe! I will have to see more of this channel!
Okay, so I'm just coming back to this channel after not having commented on it in a while, and I gotta say... What a glow up from the different drafts of medleys you've shared on socials and elsewhere. The Dawn Breaks Over Knothole section probably is the definitive version of it imho, and the rest of it really complements it. Genuinely feels like a movie introduction scene or something. Overall, I do think it's a true evolution of Michael Tavera's works on the show. Great job on this.

You're not wrong. Michael Tavera was obviously inspired by the B2tF theme when he wrote SatAM's leitmotif

It sounds really cool. May i ask , what sample libraries did You use here?
@f0xshadow5214 ай бұрын
Oh man, I have bought various sample libraries over the years. I'm not rich so I only buy things when they're on sale. I'd say the core of the libraries are from 8Dio: Century Series and Claire Woodwinds

BTTF couldn't be helped, but still a great idea
@f0xshadow5214 ай бұрын
Yea, the leitmotif was obviously inspired by B2tF. It was the early 90s, can you blame him? Though, when you actually study the scores, they're surprisingly more different than one might initially think

@@sonicmastersword8080 Fl Studio offers a very permissive free trial, and is not terribly expensive when you want to buy. The sounds are not stock though, you will need to get additional plugins for that. Sounds like its spitfire audio's BBC Symphony Orchestra Discover. Looks like they are also using the BRSO Articulate plugin to adjust voicing etc. Unlike many plugins, BBC Symphony Orchestra Discover is free.
