If we get another Classic styled Sonic game after Superstars,I hope they bring back more of the 90s style and personality of the Classics because Superstars just feels lacking in it. When I think of Classic Sonic,I think of stylish and surreal scenery,poppy music,and colorful art direction and Mania was just oozing with that style and feels like it was made with love, while Superstars just feels like it was made for the sake of being made.

I'd want a new location that feels weird and unique from the locations of past games that gives a similar vibe to the Screensaver art and japanese Mega Drive box art,I picture something like CD and the Ova for the soundtrack with vocal tracks by either TJ Davis or maybe a popular J pop artist. Also,can we please get voice acting for the characters? I don't know if I'd want Roger to voice Classic Sonic,but I can absolutely see Steven Page from Balena Productions as the voice for him,but I'd be fine with someone else,Ben Schwartz maybe?

Funny how this looks like lost world, that was trying to copy mario land/world with galaxy like sphere planets while this tries to copy NSMB.

@@Eminster It's basically New Super Sonic Bros. The levels are built with 4 players in mind with more platform heavy stuff. You even got a world map.

I will say, I appreciate spacing the Emeralds out more, but now I don't feel as motivated to explore because coins are worthless outside battle mode. I miss lives, elemental shields and Mania's blue ring mechanic. Also, am I the only one who noticed that jumping into Big Rings doesn't play the usual sound? Same for Ring Monitors...

It's NOT the status quo for Sonic. Amy fans had to scream and bellow for Amy to be playable in anything decent and because this series is so reliant on 90s nostalgia, she's the only female character who's around at all

@alejandroaguilar2012 Me neither. Well, Sonic Team may, but I don't want to tell them, and also if I did and they did do it. They may get it wrong anyway like their way of challenging the players in Frontiers Final Horizons update.

@@alejandroaguilar2012 I hope for one day that Sega do put out a good high quality title for Sonic and Sonic Team makes a good momentum based Sonic game that brings back the core fundamentals and priciples of it's gameplay like the classics in 3D like Adventure 1, but I doubt that. It just depends on who is working on the games like the people in Sonic Team behind it. Instead of having them being lackluster products that get a lot of praise and money. It's starting to annoy me since this started with Colors Ultimate and Frontiers.

Check out my community tab for a new post! I gave it a 2.5/5 on Backloggd, although I try not to do numbered scores too much so take that with a grain of salt I guess. The game is mediocre overall, at times it's outright bad.
