Honestly, It isnt a bad game, secret final boss could've been better but yeah, i still hope for a Sonic rush remake at some point, just so i can fight the egg Salamander in better grafics and such.

Ive finished the game and sadly super sonic is almost useless in this game, it doesnt feel like the levels were designed around super sonic because theres a ton of hazards that kill you like being crushed which happens far too often, also the grabbing enough rings to actually transform IS the real challenge here.

I usually play as Sonic. Repeated full jumps just after landing from the previous jump, with drop dashes sticked in between those jumps, was enough for me to both jump over the irregular floor and avoid the arm.

If I recall, Sega prefers to keep most things that were introduced in the classic style games, or only appeared in the pre-dream cast games before sonic mania, exclusive to the classic games. So they probably won't get a modern design
