Yep, it's extremely difficult and took me the whole day roughly to get it done 😭😭 That is by far one of the hardest boss battles in sonic history due to straight instakills and unfairness

I do understand the bad decisions part though, like how SA2B was rushed, 06 was rushed, hiring those people who learned about Sonic through Wikipedia, Sonic Forces, bringing in Blind Squirrel for Colors Ultimate (they didn't remake the cutscenes even though they were given all the stuff that was needed, they also didn't include playable Miis in the Sonic Simulator in the Switch version, they left stuff like the homing attack, stomp and slide blue for the different colored Sonics and Super Sonic, completely wasted the potential of the customisation by not including shoes and gloves from different characters and different running animations and different colors to make Sonic and stuff, and left the game in an ugly unfinished state with way too much bloom even after all of the updates), no widescreen with lives in Origins and Origins Plus, rushing Frontiers, the master king koco trial, teasing Sonic Prime Season 3 so early so I have to wait until February with the knowledge of its existence, instead of teasing it in January or at least December.

Good question! If you are caught, you need to spam the jump button and move to any direction to dodge the hit or else you'll be one shotted.

People, this boss is hard, but you can telegraph the attacks very easily because of how consistent the patterns are. The boss is fairly designed, it's brutal, but it's never unfair. Every attack is designed to be easy to telegraph and subsequently predict, which is why messing up is much more punishing here. Tbh, this is easily the best of the final bosses is Superstars, and much better than the Eggman fight. Tldr: get good

Stopped playing the game here after almost 2 hours. This is easily the worst boss not only in this game but the entire series. I will go back to it now that I'm familiar with it and once I beat it which I will I will never play this garbage ever again. If you really want to relax, I'd recommend regular story with sonic and them cause Trip's Story is basically the story mode but on crack 😭 final boss of that one definitely was on impossible mode

Man, frick this fight, it’s bad enough that almost all of his attacks are instant death and the hit boxes on all of them are the exact same janky hit box and there’s not one, not two, not three, not four, but five different things I can be taking damage from in both phases total, the the bottom of the real and fake ones which is tricky to hit the real fang given the hit box on him, the missles which he’ll always do in his first phase, the enemies in the second phase where if you hit them before they hit the ground, it will get thrown into fang and damage him the bomb thingies where if you hit the green one before they all explode, they will fly into fang and actually damage him, and either his arms, or his head where if you jump into the head, it’ll actually damage him and don’t even get me STARTED on this jerk. Every single one of his attacks sucks. The one where he does the electric web will actually stun you, and if you get caught, you have to mash both jump buttons in order to escape, and hope that you don’t run into the instant death ball because no matter what attack it is, if you die, you have to start the boss all over again. Oh and one last thing, for whatever reason sometimes when I run into lasers, I don’t actually die. How come the invincibility is still active on trip for a while and all of the sudden I die? All this to say, this final boss is the worst final boss I’ve ever done in a sonic game, and I hate it. It should burn in heck. Also I’m tipping both middle fingers to sega for this bullcrap.

Meanwhile I died so much to Eggman because I was playing as Sonic and when he would spin his arms around, sometimes the arena would screw me over sending me straight to my death.

@@justnateclips7521 I've experienced worse. Even Chakan the Forever Man made me rage better than this game. Still, I don't doubt any bugs and glitches that might mess players up. But I'm used to fights I only get one chance to win without getting hit. Still, I'd that was going to be the case for the final acts, they should have left no rings and at least one more checkpoint into the second phase.
