Am I the only one who really enjoys the concept of these sections? Instead of boosting the whole level, have mach speed sections combined with other levels with more free and open level design!

I can only imagine how fast sonic would be if sonic manages to combine *light speed* and *mach speed* with the *boost* Kind of like ssjb and the kaioken

I like what they did in later games, where you switch lanes instead of turn. Turning at mach speed is just too hard to control.

@@clam379 I can agree but as long as they make the controls pretty good then it'll just add a layer of challenge instead of it being just a pain, I feel it's more immersive to control the turning but I think it'd be good to make it optional

On top of that, the game doesn't save automatically, so you'll always to remember to save EVERY time when you complete something.

This game, remade in the hedgehog engine, added support for all those beta things that were better, a little bit of a speed up and remastered graphics and boom! Sonic The Hedgehog XD

I will never understand how did this game make it to shelves. Unfortunate, because I loved the art direction and soundtrack. Even the story was very cool. I wish they would remaster it and make it into the game it was meant to be.

@@nazomius7033it's because Sega is hella greedy and wanted to shove 06 out for the holidays so it got shot out a year early with mind you only half the dev team since the other half was making the equally terrible Secret Rings so they could have something out for the Wii

I just realized how fricken' pointless the mach speed sections in Wave Ocean and Kingdom Valley are. In both of them, we're supposed to catch up to Eggman's ship, but it either gets away anyway or just crashes and burns

I never understood the Egg Carrier getting away. Like this is Sonic the Hedgehog. He can run faster than the speed of sound. It's been well established at this point. Yet he can't catch the Egg Carrier? Okay in Kingdom Valley it was understandable as it crashed but in Wave Ocean you're telling me Sonic couldn't have jumped? Or had Tails fly him up? Not to mention why did they go back to they city? It was RIGHT THERE! Gah. I do not understand Sonics logic in this game fr haha.

These running levels really should come back, they are meant to show the speed of Sonic and I like that to be the thing and other levels be more adventure like.

NGL this is better than the boost tbh. In the boost, you're just forced to go in a straight line... which'd get boring after a while. Honestly man, this game could've been a smash success if it just wasn't poorly done.

I wanted to play the game myself so I could see if its as bad as everyone says it is. And when I played it I said to myself "This is a bad game, but there's something thing I found enjoyable." The gameplay is mediocre at best, its always unpolished but when its working, its not that bad. Despite the game being rushed, it had decent graphics, Silver's a cool character, and the music is amazing. And when I was playing the game, I was like "you know what I rather play this game anyday over sonic boom.

I remember i always messed up on Crisis City. Then, one day my Dad got mad at me for not taking out the garbage, and he turned off my TV while i was on the level and i was so mad. I come back from taking out the trash and it said i BEAT the level 😳😳
