The boss fight is actually quite easy, but what makes it so hard is the fact that it's so long and you have no rings, making it truly nerve-wracking.

And if you die you have to fight Mecha/Silver Sonic again. No rings means NO margin for error. Those spiked arms come out fast and can be hard to react to in time.

@@near5148 it goes in a pattern, it starts by walking then going back one step fly up and crash down. if u are in front it will launch it's spikes to times u mostly have to be far and fast to hit it before it flys up again, if u behind it while it crashes down it will do the same thing but with bombs behind it (it's jet pack may count as a hitbox to hit you) and then it repeats. u can hit it while it's walking u have to time it correctly before it moves 1 frame with it's spikes

Nunca me esqueço a primeira vez que eu passei esse boss em 1996 aos meus 7 anos de idade. Fiquei meses jogando e sempre travava no Mecha Sonic pensando que ele era o último chefe, mas o pior ainda estava por vir kkkk. Meu pai jogava comigo no controle dois, com Tails, e ficou somente com controle na mão esperando e torcendo pra eu passar desse Eggman no dia que passei. Quando eu dei os 12 golpes nele e quando eu vi o Sonic começando a correr sozinho com a explosão, eu não entendi nada, foi aí que quando ele caiu da nave e começou a tocar a música final de zeramento eu chorei de emoção depois de vários e vários dias tentando! Uma lembrança realmente forte que eu carrego sempre comigo!!!

You know you can hit him whilst he's moving right? It's risky but it's saves half an hour. You have to time it with the claws. Make sure they're neutral and knock him in the chest

The hard part for me was that I was too impatient to wait for him to land before hitting him, so I used to hit him while he was still walking forwards. You can hit him, but it's risky because his arm moves up slightly when he takes a step, and he's moving the arms backwards and forwards. One slip up and you die. But I hated having to wait for him to fly and land.

The hardest part about Death Egg isn't no rings, isn't getting all 12 hits on the robot, isn't getting killed near the end of the robot and having to fight Mecha Mk. I again, no. You can defeat the boss from behind too. Just give a distance to not be killed by the bombs, and do not touch the fire. It is the easiest way.

High props to you that you did it without any rings or taking any damage whatsoever, except the only thing is you didn't beat it with all 6 chaos emeralds and unlock Super Sonic because otherwise they would be a different finale at the end lolz :D And I know since I did it when I was a kid and still can do it as an adult to this day! Sonic & Knuckles is my personal favorite because in the end, you have to fly as Super Sonic in outer space and chase Dr. Robotnik thru an asteroid belt, but all the classic Sonic games have quite the difficulty level when it comes to the final boss! ^_~ God, I love it though! And the concept and music; all of this certainly takes me back and brings happy tears to my eyes :') I wish all games today were this good and could stand the test of time!

You can hit him on his jet pack instead. Just jump over the fire part. That way you can hit him on his back while he’s walking away from you. You just have to have a bigger distance between the wall and robotnik when he targets you and he will come down with his back facing you.

In order to speed up the fight without having to do frame perfect hits is to try and get 2 hits per phase. Walking - Lure him to one of the very edges of the arena. When he falls down, get a hit on him when the body falls down, as seen in the video. Then, he’ll start walking. Once he’s finished his cycle, run up to him and jump to get a blow above the arms. Arms - Do the same thing you did in the start of the moving attack except once you get the hit, move to the other side of the arena. Stand around near close to where the arms will stop but not too close, after the second arm is thrown, start running up to the mech and jump to get another blow above the arms. Rinse and repeat until you’ve gotten the 12 hits necessary to win.

Crash Bandicoot Games quando o Dr Eggman estiver correndo pra o robô corre bem depressa e fica bem no cantinho de tras do robô se tudo de certo o robô aparece e você tá atrás dele e aproveite pra atacar ele mais cuidado com o foguinho que sai nas costas dele e detalhe so da pra fazer isso uma vez.

Fun fact: if you use the sonic and knuckles cartridge with this, knuckles cannot beat the final boss, because he cant jump high enough to hit, and cannot climb any walls to glide.

There’s a easier way to beat silver sonic, if you spin dash where he drops down you will have enough Time to land 4 hits on him. There is also a way to get a few extra hits on the egg robo, you can go behind the place where he raises from the ground and you will be safe allowing you to hit him before he walks, you can also hit him a second time when he is about to jump
