Winter Soldier is a sequel to a series within a cinematic universe, like how Donkey Kong Country 2 is the sequel to Donkey Kong Country but is also part of the larger Mario Expanded Universe. So yes, Winter Soldier and DKC2 are sequels, and second entries of note at that.

Sonic 2 music is goated! And talking about Tails. Did you know that was actually a 2 player mode? If the second controller was activated tails would be controlled by player 2. You could literally fly and sonic hold on to you through the stage or let tails beat down the bosses 😅

"Tails serves no purpose." Are you for real? The whole gimmick to Tails and his introduction was that he could be controlled by a second player without having to take turns. Playing Sonic 2 with friends was some of the best co-op experiences. It makes the bonus levels a little more tolerable. He makes the bosses easier too, since Tails can't be killed.
