When I was 6 years old, I asked my grandmother for Sonic 2 for Christmas. She went to almost 5-6 stores until she found it!!! I still have the cartridge til this day. Love and appreciate that woman. Now She's Sky chasing!! RIP Grandma 🕊️🕊️🕊️🙏🏿💯

"Now She's Sky chasing" I did not expect to get choked up while reading through these comments 😥😭 My Grandmother was very similar! She wasn't much of a gamer at all but she was always tickled by my game related art and music, and very supportive. Her somewhat-sudden passing in 2020 made music very difficult to continue; it's why little else came after this mix. Yet I could never shake hearing her sweet little voice in my head going "How's the music going , baby?". Point taken Nana! 🥰RIP to both of these sweet women!

@@wala-nehlabala306 I recorded a sample of a viola preset from my Yamaha DX21 and tweaked said sample until I got the desired sound....I think. I have not opened the master for this in a long time so I don't remember off the top of my head what all was used. I worked on this off and on for a few years so a lot of things got a switched around in the process.

What a time, huh?? I was only four years old but I have quite a few vivid memories of it all the same, mainly the music, the fashion and the childish hi-jinx I got up to with the other little boys in school LOL (i.e. sneaking to turn our clothes backwards so we could be like Kris Kross lmao). I don't think I got hip to Sonic 2 until kindergarten the following year, but I was knee deep in Sonic 1!
