My favorite part of this series is that you can either jump in at literally any point or have watched every episode in order, and you’ll have _about_ the same idea about what’s going on. Edit: I was wrong. Tamers12345 is nothing short of this generation's James Baldwin in terms of his discussion of racism, sexuality, and life in America. Tamers is nothing short of a fantastic story crafter, and every single frame is rich in both foreshadowing and payoff.

You probably aren’t paying much attention then man. Once, after my fifth run through of the series, tried to watch the series out of order and focus on my favorite episodes. It was a huge mistake. The episodes simply don’t make sense when you understand some of the subtext and foreshadowing. In fact, it can be distracting to not watch it in order. Some people think this show is just a joke or a shitpost but it’s actually really deep and dabbles with serious themes. Especially with long term arcs. Frankly, if you really think you can or should watch this series out of order (or skip a single episode) you aren’t watching it correctly bro. I get that it can be difficult to care. Most of these episodes are awesome on their own, mostly because of the writing and animation quality. But it’s maybe 10 to 100 times better when you actually know the deep lore.

People can watch Tamers however they want. Maybe in my pursuit of artistic merit, understanding, and-dare I say-enlightenment, I lost the forest for the trees.
