Am I the only one who had a really easy time with the final boss? It seemed like a slightly challenging, but not too hard boss to me when I played it on the 3DS Virtual Console.

Brings back memories, I remember completing this game. The water level was a nightmare. In fact the whole game was hardcore difficulty-wise. Megadrive-only sonic fans have no idea lol. If I remember rightly, level select is up up up down down down up up up up 1+start, same as code for changing tail's name to miles on megadrive sonic 2, and same as level select on sonic 3 & Knuckles angel island zone hanging from vines

I haven't ever played this game, but what ACESpark said in the description of part 1 implied that there were Chaos Emerald stages before the bosses themselves that were extremely difficult.

I constantly fought Nack in Part 1. Constantly. It's even in the preview image for Part 1. There are only 6 Emeralds in this game, one of them taken from Dr Robotnik at the end.

Too bad Archie Sonic is cancelled. Ian was tying up the continuity in a fun way that made SATAM part of Sonic 2 for the game gear which lead into Tails Skypatrol, Tails Adventure was adapted into a later story. I would love to have seen how Triple Trouble leads into Sonic 3

how did that cat thing live after the 1st video when u knocked him underground? crazy! yea, that last boss does look pretty hard. can this game also be played on a Master System? iv known some Sonic Game Gear games to be also released on Master System and then recently released on Nintendo Virtual Console as the Master System version. also, where might i be able to get an emulator for Sonic games like this one? if u dont mind me asking.

I DONT KNOW I DIDN'T MAKE THE GAME. Don't type in all caps mate. It doesn't help get your point across. There were originally only 6 Chaos Emeralds in Sonic 1, with the Seventh introduced in Sonic 2 that allowed Sonic to become Super Sonic. Since there is no Super Sonic in this game, that is my best guess as to why there are only 6.

They need to make this on the Virtual Console. I bought Sonic Chaos and beat it in less than an hour or more (I wasn't telling time but I started at 3:30PM and when I beat it and turned off my Wii it was about 5PM).

Its hard to see because Sonic is jumping on him constantly, but its hard to tell the color difference between robotniks head and his body in phase 1. Hes naked?

It's not actually the Mk III of the Egg Chamber, as Mk III was in Sonic 2 16 bit. The first two master system games had the Mk I and II.

rabidcowcat65: Super Sonic was around in the SECOND game and above. Check the name of your game real quick. And btw theres only 6 emeralds in that game (i didnt know at first but now i do) and you need 7 to go super. They might have had super in a different type of Sonic 1 though, MAYBE.

No this doesn't make sense. If Sonic Triple Trouble was Knuckles' first game, and Knuckles he wasn't a bad guy, why'd he think Sonic was a bad guy? That would mean Sonic The Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles would have no point. Sonic 3 & Knuckles came out in 1994 while Sonic Triple Trouble came in 1994.
