Sonic the Hedgehog XS Overview ✪ Sonic Protamedra Rewrite Project Introduction

Sonic the Hedgehog XS (also known as “Sonic XS” for short) is a rewrite project that seeks to re-imagine the history and organization of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. The project was made up of three parts, each representing one of the three distinct eras of the Sonic franchise to date. Those eras being the Classic era, Adventure era, and the Modern era. However only production of the Classic era was ever completed and the project was shelved before work on the adventure era or modern era portions ever began. The Classic era rewrite, known as Sonic Protamedra, is a comprehensive re-organization of landmarks, plot points, and more from various avenues of media including comics, TV shows, games, etc, into one cohesive story line with an interconnected world.
