No it does not. It’d most likely be a tie if Shadow wasn’t given non-canon feats. For example Shadow cannot stop time in his base form. Shadow shouldn’t be able to touch Super Sonic before going super form. Shadow doesn’t have a pure red form.

@@BurnTH actually Dark Sonic is far stronger than Super Sonic. In Sonic X, The Meterex said that They had recorded all of Sonics last battles. And that the robots were made to survive his attacks. His first battle with the Meterex was in his Super Form. So that means the robots were made to fight and take attacks from Super Sonic. And Sonic destroyed them with ease. That's why to me it was disappointing that we never saw Dark Sonic again. Because eggman called him down. But the other forms are an awe....because I thought it would be cool to see them. But I can understand why you dont use them.

Ive seen some comments here and they really distrube me. Allow me to clear things up. 1.Shadow Does no have a Hyper form people. 2.Dark Sonic Is not Canon but just like The super emeralds, Dark energy Can POSSIBLY be possible in the Canon World. 3.Yes, shadow had the Inhibitor rings, but they are to store UNUSED CHAOS ENERGY. Not to store up the power he doesn't use. Thats why whenever he takes off his rings, he does something called, CHAOS blast. And as well, its limited. Therefore, even if the hypothesis If Shadow were take off the rings in his shoes then he would be faster than sonic, would be false because, The rings power storage is limited, which means Shadow would basically be like Metap Sonic's Maximum Overdrive. He'd be faster than Sonic for a while and thats it. No more. Sonic would just proceed to be faster than him again. Yeh thats about it. Oh and Imo I Say that Between Sonic and Shadow, Sonic wins this one.

Okay, let's talk about it for a bit. 1. Nobody know about it, because Super Emeralds haven't appeared since Sonic 3 & Knuckles. I don't even think it's canon, so Hyper form is not canon too. 2. Not interested in this, so let's talk about the third. 3. I made his shoes rings not to make him faster but to make him even stronger than without his hands rings. In other words, he unleashes all of his power, what I introduced in animation. Than, about Sonic and Shadow. In their base abilities, they are equal. They have the same speed, the same strength, spin dash, light speed attack, blue/black tornado and etc. BUT, there is one thing that makes Shadow stronger. His Chaos Power. It gives him more chances to win, and Shadow is also more skilled about battle. He actually uses his arms and legs in many games, and Sonic is not. So, I think, Shadow is actually stronger than Sonic (sorry for my English, I am from Russia)

Yeah i noticed. 4.I mean, Sonic Obtained Super not so long after His 1st adventure, obtained hyper in a seperate story. As well obained Darkspine. Not to mention he know Sonic Wind or The Sonic Slash that stuns some people. But yeah. Shadow probably has a little bit more Chaos energy than Sonic. But in strength, I actually say Sonic is Stronger due to the fact that Sonic has shown more impressive feats than Shadow.

Sonic 2006. Sonic lost to Silver twice, and Shadow actually defeats him in a first fight. I know that Sonic was distracted, but that is not changing anything. Sonic 06 is not canon, but it still has the best way to show the difference between characters and their behave. Also, about Darkspine. It is actually not canon too, because this transformation was literally in a fairy tale. And about strength... Shadow the Hedgehog. In two different endings he defeats Sonic and G.U.N. commander in a mech in the same time. Maybe it is not a good argument, but it actually shows Shadow's power. And, again, ending of his story in Sonic 06, where he take off his limiters and destroys the whole number of Mephiles' clones.

@@BurnTH 1. Shadow used Chaos energy. Sonic didn't. Sonic doesn't use his chaos energy in most battles. He like plain fighting. A nice fist fight. Just to show that Sonic amd Shadoe have different fighting styes. 2. Actually,Darkspine is canon as long as Secret rings is. And both Black Knight and Secret Rings tell us it happend. In secret rings he told us he came from another universe and accidently stumbled upon the place Secret Rings takes place. Black knight tells us how Sonic Really was going through the experience. He really is King Arthur in the Universe Black Knight takes place. 3. It doesn't really show Shadow beat Sonic but Shadow Beating the G.U.N machine. As the boss battle doesn't let you take care of Sonic. Only the Robot. 4. Yeah... That basically proves my point. Shadow's inhibitor rings does not limit Shadow's power, in Just stores Chaos energy untill he is reasy to let it go. Which means, physically, Sonic is stronger. When it comes to Chaos energy, Shadow probably has the advantage here because Most of his attacks are Made of Chaos energy. Chaos spear etc. But that hasn't stopped Sonic from beating people who use Chaos energy.

So the fact that Shadow has beaten Sonic isn't really a feet because Sonic as well has beaten him. Just to show the relatiomship between Sonic and Shadow. They act like if they were serious people and sometimes make jokes of eachother. Bu whenever Sonic Overpowers Shadow, Shadow is just right behind him until he catches up to him. I Can Break this down but we have to get some stuff clear so we're all on the same page.1 get rid of all knowledge of previous battles in the Sonic gamesyou're just confused most of us of how this battle will go down cuz all the rest is pretty much main character but and it is in different stories in Sonic Adventure 2. 2: we could use hyper Sonic and hyper Shadow in the in hyper chaos Shadow since it won't corrupt any of the research since there's not much information on hyper shadow hyper sonic and hyper chaos shadow okay now that we can get down to the breakdown.it's easily stated that shadow is kind of stronger than Sonic sure Sonic can be faster butbut you can also say that every everything Sonic is done is also skilled to Shadow since Shadow is the only character who can who is gotten really really close the Sonic's feats now this battle is not come down to durability strength and speed it comes down to who they are the characters in that is the main impact on the battle so Sonic is really cocky he thinks you will always win but Shadow does not think that even though he will say he's the ultimate my phone but that doesn't mean that he's cocky Sonic has a big ego and he would so is well taunt shadow in battle now that was screw him over in the battle I don't care what anybody would say cuz Sonic is that type of person and you know how Sonic would irritate shadow that would push Shadow and I don't care who ever said this Shadow Wood guaranteed kill Sonicso some people would say that will never happen think of Shadow think of a shadow on a character remember that remember when he had amnesia is just when he didn't know about anything thank you Shadow now but not as a friend Sonic see's shadow as a rival or faker but Sonic could dig himself a very deep hole that he can't get himself out of once he's irritated Shadow and pushed him over the edge and Sonic and not get out of that hole and you could say that super Sonic is equal to super Shadow maybe but there's one thing that super Sonic and Sonic space form cannot rival and that is chaos Shadow or super K eyeshadow and this is when Shadow does not hold back anymore this is where Shadow loses his cool and I quite frankly think that this could happen in a real fight would Sonic and Shadow and remember in Sonic x where Shadow said "this isn't even my full power" I feel like he wasn't joking I mean really do you think Shadow would get cocky in any through the form even if he's in a good mood he won't get as cocky as Sonic would indicate a better cuz Sonic would think that he's just fighting a typical villain or typical person who wants to take over the world Shadow is not that type of opponent cuz okay we can just throw all of the all the fights in Sonic Adventure 2 cuz those were mainly based off of main characters plot so what we're talking about a real fight it comes down to the personality shuttle would not hesitate to kill Sonic 1 I mean have you even seen Shadow the hedgehog the game where people hated where do you buy bike any game that shadow was in to get straight to the point of everything meaning he goes for a final poll when Sonic is just like "I'm going to win"this is why we say "never did a big head"so I agree with this battle cuz it does have accuracy cuz people saying Sonic would be chatting with a fight okay how about you actually kind of research the whole thing cuz shadow is 1 more skilled with the chaos emeralds and he doesn't even need the tail supposed to perform chance abilities chaosphere if you even done it before and give me the cats I want to do chaos control and if we're going about the rebuilding I guess we can say that they're equal in some way but Shadow and when he has in his rings off Sonic is a gun in any sort of way he's a goner even if we could take out the non-canon hyper Sonic and the non-canon hyper Shadow and Anakin and hyper chaos shadow just remember did Hitler rings is where he doesn't hold back anything he doesn't hold back any power everything is his full power and is primal rage and everything fuse that with super form Sonic is a goner in every way in all of the cannon he's a gone the reason I want to throw up everything in Sonic Adventure 2 ain't like I'm talking to older fights all the fights in the previous games cuz those fights are kind of inaccurate cuz they want to say cuz it's wants main character plot and they don't want the main characters that lose but if we want to full fight a real fight who would win cuz one he wouldn't hold back like Sonic would he wouldn't get cocky like Sonic would he would get the job done and he will kill Sonic if he has to Sonic wouldn't kill Shadow if he had to and Shadow probably without his inhibitor rings Sonic with a gun remember that so when you put if you visibly research you come to a conclusion where Shadow is the winner in this big Shadow versus Sonic debate thank you for listening my big freaking monologue for I'm just rambling and rambling.

Shadow isn’t stronger. He was given a non-canon form in this battle. Also Shadow cannot stop time in his base form. He still can use Chaos Control in his base form but cannot stop time. Also Shadow wouldn’t even be able to touch Super Sonic. It’d most likely be a tie if Shadow wasn’t given non-canon feats.

Shadow has more abilities than sonic such as chaos boost, sphere, blast, and more. Shadow can still defeat sonic in base form. Base sonic vs base shadow Shadow wins because shadow matches the amount of speed that sonic has and strength
