Translation: "Sonic Generations" Two blue hedgehogs stand up to restore order to the world stolen by the mysterious monster "Time Eater" and save their friends trapped in the distortions of time and space. Newly added ``Chao Rescue'' to rescue Chao and ``Drop Dash'', an action that expands the range of play.

it's the other stage from the Heroes demo alongside Seaside Hill (which is in base Gens) and Bullet Station's where we first see the pods and the cutscene after the Egg Albatross is when we see a broken Shadow Android so yeah

I feel from what they learned from Colors Ultimate, origins plus, and frontiers DLC- are making atone to add a brand new story line via Shadow’s campaign. I actually want my hopes high because with the sound of season pass, they can possibly remake old stages from Sonic’s past to be full fledged stages with amazing visuals. With the skins, they have a large set of skins that would look great for generations even if it’s obscured or unusual. The future looks very much h more promising ever since the 2021 Sonic direct though the difference is that colors ultimate and origins plus didn’t release in the proper state it did (or rather had controversy)

This pretty much confirms my suspicions that Shadow Generations is the Bowser's Fury of the Sonic universe, combining half of the game that's being remastered(Sonic Generations) and the other half being the latest Sonic game(Sonic Frontiers)

The one thing I’ve always hoped for in a gens remaster was adding the 3DS levels to the game in full hd, since that game basically had a whole separate set of levels that console and pc users never got to experience. Doesn’t seem like they’ll be doing that but still would be peak

Something I want to note is that for Sonic Superstars there was an upgrade to get the content for the Digital Deluxe edition for the base game, so the same thing could possibly happen for Sonic X Shadow Generations

I think the reason why it only shows the ps5 version instead of both the ps4 and ps5 is because they are marketing this game to be played on current gen consoles and also the box art for xbox shows xbox one and the series since microsoft has box covers for both xbox one and xbox series similar to how they did it with the xbox 360 and xbox one while sony only advertises games on different generation platforms separately

Rail Canyon actually makes perfect sense since it and Seaside Hill were the 2 stages in the Sonic Heroes demo and Bullet Station and Egg Albatross are where we first see the pods and a broken Shadow Android respectively

Yeah, which is what we see in the trailer. They are improved in the sense that it's native 4K now. But that doesn't make much of a difference when the PC version already ran at 4K. The graphics aren't getting improved past this because the game has already finished development

The PS4 version is releasing pyhsically and the level seems to be Bullet Station, not Rail Canyon. You can see the big guns in the background from that level. Or it could be a mix off both like Seaside Hill and Ocean Palace was in the base game.

5:08 looks like is gonna be an improved version of chaos control from shadow the hedgehog, where it stop time in the level (as expected for chaos control), but also is gonna summon new type of paths where you can go flying in it just like shadow the hedgehog game chaos control (5:10) but with way more control of it, instead of just being a way to skip the whole level and nothing more, so thats cool and yeah. the open zone really was a surprise, i want that to happen and not have faith, but they definitly cooked, i really want to see how is the progression gonna work now, apart from that, the wings for shadow... could be this the time when we can fly through an open world with this new skill? something a lot of people wanted in frontiers with super sonic, but we didnt have? definitly shadow generations grow up my expectations a lot, now i have, HYPE, LITERAL HYPe

That's not correct. Gameplay has already released of brand new shadow levels not seen in Generations and the level design is completely different as well. And the game's website separates the two games because they are different campaigns as confirmed by the website and director

I was surprisingly shocked, to read about the open-zone gameplay inspired by frontiers, but it made sense, since the way Shadow was fighting, was similar and skill points were mentioned. I'm definitely looking forward to this Oct. The Shadow i know, in power is back, I just need the writing to be perfect.
