Imo the original already looked so good there's not much that could be changed

The real reason is because no one would buy it. When SEGA listens to fans it's only because what the fans want would coincidentally also be successful. But only a small part of the community want Unleashed ported and SEGA wouldn't get big sales. Music licenses and game engines are never the reason why any game doesn't get ported or remastered/remade.

I have already said this on the short for this video but I will say it again with some minor differences. I am gald the special stage controls are the same but still why is every sonic model port have different sizes for there movement controls the one in Sonic 1 to 2 is perfect size and the one is Sonic 4 is so small that most of the time when you try to move forward Sonic will look up instead. Now the joystick takes up 30% of the screen in mania. They need to pick a size for the movement controls.
