Sonic X Shadow Generations - Tokyo Act 1

Well, I knew the DLC is about to come. This game is now hitting more of a peak. Besides, SEGA decided to do some important decisions, mostly referring to say that this game is going to start a powerful peak due to multiple moments of hitting. It’s wonderful that SEGA makes important choices to feature him after Sonic Generations in 2011.

In French, we don't have the French comedian who takes Keanu Reeves's voice on his movies, also in "Sonic 3", the game took the Keanu Reeves voice.

Wish we get Sonic Movie content in new Sonic games like the Movie Aura Effect and the boost just like Sonic Colors Ultimate did. :)

Cool stage! I noticed that at the score-screen at the end there were 6 pictures rather than the usual collectibles. I cant play the DLC myself at the time, but do they correspond with the set-pieces in the level? For example, was that set-piece in the middle of the stage where Shadows drags a guy from a moving helicopter something that doesnt happen with every playthrough of this stage? If so, l wonder if it's possible to trigger all set-pieces in one go

The 6 pictures unlock stills of Shadow making dynamic poses in Tokyo that you can view in the Collections Room. And yeah, the set-pieces in this level are always there when you play through it again.

Though I haven't seen the movie, from what I know, that scene doesn't happen in the movie. Rather, the scene where Shadow coerces the helicopter pilot out of his vehicle is based on a similar scene from Dark Beginnings. The six collectible items, found scattered through this stage, are promotional posters featuring Shadow in Tokyo. Though they're suggested to be for the movie, the backgrounds are of this stage. Later on, I'll show the full contents of the Collection Room, including those posters, though I can move the poster showcase up my schedule if people want me to.

I know Keanu Reeves is a great actor, but his voice in this DLC sounds pretty underwhelming. I guess it was because of the voice direction.

Yeah, his voice is a lot better in the movie.

Good to know. Of course, with a Tomatometer score of 86% and a 98% audience score, I would guess he did a better job in the movie.

This DLC is like six dollars right? That seems a bit steep for what we get here. This stage looks like it's a bit cramped and janky, not to mention pretty short if you take out all of the cutscenes. It's cool that Keanu gets to be the voice here but phoning it in this bad just makes the price point sting a bit more. I wonder if Nintendo would ever let the Movie Mario design be in a game; somehow I doubt it. It's interesting that Sega is being a bit more flexible in some regards. Like having the rabbit prototype form in Superstars and the Terios skin in this game for Shadow. Maybe in the next Smash they'll let Sonic have better alt colors!

A lot of the price probably DID go towards paying Keanu Reeves, since all of the dialogue here was recorded just for this DLC. But yeah, normally, he's better than what you hear here. The box art for Princess Peach Showtime! was altered to make Peach look more like she was in the movie. Not sure about if Mario would get a movie tie-in. Probably not for The Legend of Zelda. At least we got an awesome remix of Westopolis by TeddyLoid for the music in this stage.
