Another one of those videos that deserves WAY more thumbs up! I've watched a few now on this pedal as I have one coming in a few days. But this one really explained a lot and in a VERY easy way to understand. I'm a little bummed though on the bank and preset scenario. I got it for a backup in case my main rig goes down and i use a different preset for each song. We'll see if I can make it work. It is a back up so not expecting it to do everything my main rig does and just doing all metal so not a huge variance of styles. But I like what I like lol preset-wise 😁 Got a great deal on it so no biggie if I have to resell. Great video!! Thanks a bunch!

It sounds great! Its coming clearly from the Valeton/HoTone/Ampero -kinda Modellers, but i.m.h.o. its the most natural sounding Unit out there, period! The only reason i didn't kept it was the feeling of too much latency, as if the sound is not coming "direct" on attack. But maybe that's just me? Now i am happy with a Ampero Stage II, but that is nearly 3x the price of the Matribox!

smashed it yesterday straight out of the box. used an IR and ran it straight through a Headrush FRFR cab. Ridiculously good. Now I just need to figure out how to get past the slight lag between patch changes.. Ive owned everything from Mesa Boogie rectifiers to Axefx's and the tones are standing up incredibly well imho...

Yeah it’s pretty good isn’t it! I was genuinely impressed. I use a HeadRush for some of my gigs, and I’ve learned to press early to account for the lag. In reality the only person that’s gonna notice is you. Punters won’t notice if you time it well.

I play djent dropped in F and this matribox 2 is a killer machine. I dont use neuraldsp anymore after this killer box. Super OD + Flyman2+ and an eq in post. Stop. Killer djenty low tuned stuff on emg's pickups!
