What I would like and nobody seems to have done it yet ... is to play the bass presets on a bass guitar with a bass amp and to play the AC presets on an acoustic-electrric, preferably through an amp designed for acoustic guitars. I wonder how they will sound with such a setup, especially the bass presets.

This is really very good. I can't wait to see when it will be available here in India and at what sort of price. Recently, I bought the Nux mg400 which to me is just about as awesome as multi effects come. However, if the price is right then i don't see why I shouldn't get this too. Your review of it is super good.

I just got one of these. It is pretty impressive for only $130. However I am still trying to figure out how to use it properly. I downloaded the detailed (larger) manual but it is not terribly well-written. One thing I do not like is that there doesn't seem to be an on/off switch, unless I am missing something.

Agree. Took the time to check out the manual, and it it provides the bare bones and absolute information to get this box running.

This is nothing more than a rebranded Valeton GP 100: almost identical amp types, built-in IRs etc I have the Valeton GP 100 and, until Sonicake has purposely put in this little thing a lot of gain, there is no way in the universe the Matrixbox sound as aggressive as is possible to hear in this video, and first of all in many other videos (of other youtubers) in which this Matrixbox seems as aggressive as an Engl Savage, and this is laughable! Ultra powerful pickups make a lot of difference (post processing with the interface even more, but this is absolutely not the case of an honest guitarist like the much appreciated Neil), and it would be fantastic for all the beginners that want to buy new gear, to hear a cheap pedalboard "feeded" by a cheap guitar, and not by a monster of several hundred bucks. Only a general speech (not directed to Neil) + constructive "criticism" (directed to Neil, my absolute favourite guitarist/youtuber) ♡

You don't use post processing because you are an honest guitarist, like i wrote :) One of the few honest ones on KZbin, and it is for this reason that i appreciate you so much
