This was played on Battle Patch 1.03, the Goldlewis patch, but right before the Jack-O patch. this mean it was on release Nagoriyuki. the upsides were stuff like 0 on block Beyblade which is very strong. but it also meant this was before the crazy amount of buffs he got. Dp being a delayable 2 Hit move wasn't a thing , it was added later. the amount of blood returned on F.sss was much smaller. his F.s,F.ss and F.sss being faster at higher levels of blood wasn't added until later. Most important of all Clone Sucked because it had a 23 Frame Start up, Took Forever to travel, the changes he received with patch 1.10 fixed a lot of his kit, including the ability to use shadow clone as an amazing neutral tool, 2 Hit DP with the option to Delay, and then in 1.18, he received the ability to cancel his 236K(Fukyo) into other special moves. like Beyblade, and he kept the momentum off these moves allowing him to cross the screen very well. TLDR: at this point Clone was Nagoriyuki's worst special by far, and saw very little play due to its cost.

Idc about the trans rights stuff, it's more so he injects his views into every speech he does, and makes him being a gay black furry into a huge deal. It has shock value the first time but it's pretty common all these years later. I dislike him as a person but respect his ability in fighting games.

I mostly just get annoyed because you see him in finals for every fighting game, and he almost always stomps the competition. There's no underdog stories against him, and it gets boring to watch

how come nobody is playing as potemkin is that character banned beccause he has unblockable moves (grabs) that do half your lifebar which i think is really stupid you should be able to block those i keep losing against my friend even though all he does is spam the same moves because it just kills me so fast

Some people play potemkin at professional level. You Can find that on the Channel. Specially at the EU region theres some insane potemkin players.

At the highest level people are just more aware of grabs and are able to either stay out of his range or do moves that are able to avoid it. If you keep losing to your friend who's spamming the same moves like his command grab then yeah you're doing something wrong.
