Wow, thank you very much, I've been following you since the Bluescreen/Skybox Vr comparaison video, I recently got a Quest 3 and was actually looking for a good headstrap with battery, unfortunately the Bobovr one doesn't ship in my country but this one does and has faster charging that the alternatives I've found, thanks man.

It's a very neat solution and I did look at a few but prefer using my battery bank, which I initially got for my phone but lately found it very handy keeping the Quest 3 topped up. It's 10000mah which gives me an additional 2hrs possibly more, depending on the charge the Quest has, but it can easily charge the Quest back up. I keep it in my back pocket, connected via 1M long cable which has a 90° angled plug on one end. I don't know that headset cost but this setup was around £25 including the cable.

@@emgee44 I’ve certainly done that too. There’s even a manufacture that makes banks for less conventional uses. I think headstraps like these are great for a wireless option .. especially if you’re playing games and want to go nuts and eel immersed without dodging the cable. But all in all that’s a nice diy set up for about 20£ less! Respect

I think I know why they have charging pins on 1 side and not on both sides. It is simply to have the option to just attach it to the headset without charging it or charging only after you depleted a bit of the full charge of your headset coz its bad and a waste for the battery if both are at full charge. Quest users who are already using an external battery would understand.

Now I think off it, it would be better if they simply installed a on/off switch to activate the backup battery. Turning the battery around to match the pins is such a hassle and a break of immersion, but I guess it's still better then Bobo.

It’s a carbon copy of the Binbok T3 headstrap. Both very good for the Quest 3

I own both the Quest 2 and Quest 3, but the original Meta Quest headstrap is quite uncomfortable. I had to purchase a new, adjustable headstrap, and having a backup battery was essential for extended use. I previously tried a non-branded headstrap, but now I use the Sonicgrace S3 Duo, and it’s by far the best. The magnetic hotswap feature is incredibly convenient, making it superior to other options like Kiwi. I highly recommend the Sonicgrace headstrap for comfort and functionality.

The default head strap is uncomfortable. I was previously considering purchasing the BOBOVR M3 Pro, which looks very comfortable to wear. However, after researching, I found that its battery pack has a small capacity and charges slowly. After watching this video, I think I should consider Sonicgrace's products first. Thank you! I liked this headstrap, but I'm continually bummed that the halo design isn't the default. Great video. And I dissed on the hinge. Lol. I didn't even think about that use case, but in fairness, it's always advertised as a way of propping the headset up on your forehead.

@@bringhurstvr just watched yours. You were actually right , it’s a common misconception because of the bad advertising, it’s not for the flip up it’s a comfort thing. I have the Meta elite strap and the lack of the bend is noticeable, basically you can’t get out of it without turning the knob.

I like this head set as of now I just got it literally couple hours ago. Headset was at 74% put it on outta the box** (had 3 dots light up) played for about an hour headset 74% battery went down too 2 light up dots. I mean wow…. my friend went from 75% too about 15% during that time.

Sorry to hear that. Sounds like you got a bad one. The unit I have is still working great as a daily driver. If removable batteries are a must for you and you don’t mind halo straps, BOBOVR may be a good alternative. If you want the elite style and don’t mind not having a detachable battery take a look at Kiwi Design’s latest options. I have another one( the one with multiple batteries) to test thanks for dropping the comment , I’ll look out for noise

@@blackryn0 bobo just released a elite style strap like this one. I haven’t tried it yet. But yes this is a smaller form factor than the larger halo style bobo straps. But the batteries are larger than bobo VR’s halo strap.
