No IR was used
guitar was my 96 Gibson SG standard into the ammoon cube sugar into my Fender twin reverb amp
the modulation part does a little quiet bit when you click it in or off ( that sucks...)

hi, not really a trash metal player here but i guess you could in an average level, has a distortion , a overdrive and a boost ... not much hum if you use a boss psa power supply
