What about to compare and isn't also the MaSatOGT20 Sonic mod as good as or even better than both the Frontiers and Forces Sonic mod? But the Uekawa cel-shaded Sonic fan mod is still the best Sonic mod for me.

A statement of how epic and amazing Forces would have been if it hadn't been rushed as it was. A more demanding game running in the same platforms and the same engine is able to run as smoothly, with better graphics. Sonic Team needs to take game development serious again.

As much as I love the mods, I find myself nowadays not as disappointed with base Forces as I was when it released. Like 06, it was a victim of circumstances, and I just can't fault that anymore.

I never was disappointed by it but it wasn't until 2021 that I started to get obsessed with this game. In 2017 I was like: "Wow, neat mew game!" and then focused back on the boost trilogy and a little on Boom.

Sonic Forces was the aftermath of the Wii U deal, which I am convinced it was just going to be Sonic Lost World. All this happened because of a problem Nintendo put on themselves, because nothing was gonna save that damn system even if Lost World and Boom turn out good... which they weren't. Big Red Button (Which based on what I've heard, Sonic Team pitched in to help) got their reputation tarnished out the gate, and this led to Forces. I suppose you could blame Sega to some degree with their antics, but none of this would've happened if Nintendo was competent with the Wii U.

@@PepeChadIsDaGoat Overclocked is ambitious for what it wants to do and it attempts to fix most of Forces obvious flaws with the level design, but I feel it falls short on the writing and Sonic’s Voice, particularly sometimes in the in-stage dialogue.

Undefeatable just makes you feel powerful compared to Fist Bump if I’m being completely honest it just hits way more than Fist Bump Especially when I hear “It’s Time To Face your Fear”

He could use the spindash tho, even if he freezes for a second each time he hits an enemy to give more impact, so he would still be slower than Forces with th boost

Technically, Sonic has the slide move in Frontiers. You probably forgot it exist since it's at its most useless in Frontiers but it still functions the same as the previous boost games.

The textures and fur material were the one thing I really liked from the Frontiers Model, I didn’t like how Play Doh-y and Pale Sonic looked from Generations to Forces. I liked the Frontiers Mod that gave the Perfect Unleashed Model the Frontiers Textures.
