Sonic Adventure Mods always shock me by how much they can modify the game, heck you can make your own cutscenes at this point. This was super cool to see how it'd work in SA1.

it would've been like Sonic 06''s End of the World, where all but one of the playable characters search for the scattered Chaos Emeralds - it starts with a short un-winnable battle with Regular Sonic against Perfect Chaos like in Sonic X, it's similar to the Sonic Generations battle except Perfect Chaos can't be damaged no matter what you do and it ends when you get hit with no rings - then you begin the Multi-character final stage playing as Tails, Knuckles, Amy and Big as they go through seven sections with a Chaos emerald at the end of each one - this stage will be called Capital Torment - Tails, Knuckles and Amy get two sections each while Big gets one - Tails finds the Purple and Blue Chaos Emeralds, Knuckles finds the Green and White ones, Amy, Birdy, Gamma's Flicky and Beta's Flicky find the Cyan and Red ones, and Big and Froggy find the yellow one - the enemies of the stage are offshoots of Perfect Chaos called Chaos Spawn, and they are like the Iblis monsters from 06

Sonic, Tails on foot, Tails in the Cyclone, Knuckles, Amy, Big, Gamma, Dr. Eggman in his Egg Walker, Rouge, and Shadow. Metal Sonic too i guess if you really wanted to include all the speed characters. Possible scenario: Gamma just shoots Beta and contemplates his existence, Amy comes along, Fights Zero with Gamma, Amy Convinces Gamma To stay alive. The adventure 1 cast defeats perfect Chaos. Eggman and Metal Sonic break into prison Island, Release Shadow, The usual sa2 story happens, Team Dark return to Prision Island, Rouge goes to security hall, Eggman and Metal Sonic Distract G.U.N. Tails, Amy, Big and Gamma arrive on prision Island. Tails, Amy, and Gamma fight off Eggman and Metal. The rest of the story is the same but with Big and Gamma helping the heroes and Metal Sonic helping the villains.

I've been playing SA1/SA2 since release on the dreamcast and I just learned a few months ago that you can get a necklace that allows Knuckles to breathe underwater. Lol turns out I've been playing Cannon's core on hard mode for over 20 years. No wonder that part has always been such a pain in the ass.
