Wow i'm blown away by the OC plugins!!! Thanks so much for this incredible overview of the possibilities in post. I'm def buying a pair of OC818, not for their sound (which is totally good btw), but just for the plugins. Recording acoustic chamber music will never be the same for me. Using the AmbiCreator Plugin you can actually create B-Format Ambisonics Audio with just 2 OC818's, which gives you height dimension as well. You can then decode it to 5.1, 7.1, Atmos, binaural or whatever else your heart desires :D The Plugin's free btw

This was amazing. Thank you for all the great examples. To record the pair of mics would It be best to buy a matched pair right away or could I get one mic now and then get a second sometime later when gig money starts rolling in again 😉 and not have to worry about sonic differences?
