What an awesome, awesome instrument. It respects your real estate and offers so much functionality - the fact that you can connect to the ipad opens truly endless possibilities

Fully agree with everyone raving about this thing...seems like a real fount of smooth traditional sounds just waiting to be sampled, and the full size keybed with aftertouch even. We are truly living in a golden age.

Nice!! This is definitely in my shopping list now :) Thanks Jeremy for a very good demonstration and of course thanks to Nick for making this happening. I totally like the idea of having this instrument with a more versatile semi-weighted keybed to accommodate the various playing styles like the organ and synths other than making it a hammer action type which would be just suitable as a piano only.

Love to hear something more in depth on how tweakable that synth engine goes, but the more standard tones sounded surprisingly great.

Looks like a winner. Hope they market and distribute well. Would like to hear more of that tonewheel engine applied to a more rock/blues oriented context, as well as more leslie on fast...

I can see this getting the people at Nord quite worried. I assume that the organ section is not the same KeyB engine as on the Numa organ but another, separately-designed, (the 'experience'?) with similar properties and tonality.

@@aviromuziek Dude, I have NC2X already for more than one year and I'm very satisfied. This keybed (TP9) is perfect for my needs. I don't need keys with hammer action (like TP100).

I have one that I got for a good price. I tried the new Yamaha today CK61. Tempting but felt the X2 is better. Pad sounds are a bit weak in my opinion, but I love everything else. Put it through an Eventude H9 - bliss!

How do the keys of this compare to the hammer action SL73? Will there be a 73 key version of this Numa Compact 2X?

Hi! I'm considering this to replace my Yamaha Motif ES7 for live stuff ... as i do not need a huge heavy keyboard with tons of sounds for my solo gigs anymore. But what I MUST know ... I've liked how on the Motif I will have a layered keys and pads layered setup ... but I would bring in the pads sometimes as fade ins, or I want to control that pad volume in real time. Can I do the same on this? And I'd want to do the same by using Apple's Mainstage when I get that setup. Looking for advice please and thanks!

I hope for too. Budget and compact keyboard is not the first one for some people. As I have a hammer action digital piano in my studio and I am looking for the compact piano for carry on my city car. The 73-key and semi weight is suitable for me.

Now its realy killing the studiologic line why don't all the sl88 studio/stage masterboards have this Drawbars/faders section? . this shity compact2x tp9 short keybed is a nice fun for a budget combo/masterkeyboard A SHAME THEY Don't make a sl88 tp100/tp40w masterboard like this. compactx2 cost around 750.....incl internal sounds . A sl88 studio(tp100)cost 300 no sound at all but a very good keybed , A numa pianox tp100.tp40w has internalsounds but not the organ drawbar section and no speakers cost 1500 to 2000 . so a compactx2 with a tp100(studio) keybed they can make it for around 950 and then we can speak of a very interesthing V-combo/vst,daw masterkeyboard ad 2 user soundpaths to it withs can be loaded with your favorite/homemade sound and your are good for a rig on stage and bring it home into your homestudio for music creation
