You know you're an above-excellent hero when the villain immediately starts cowering at the mere sight of you. Eggman knows at this point that the second Sonic shows up, he's screwed. Take Sonic out of the picture, and Eggman's suddenly very competent. Starts kicking everyone's ass. I honestly feel like everyone else should be much stronger than that. They've been on how many adventures with Sonic and it's been how many years since it all began? At this point, Amy and Knuckles should be able to just knock the arms off the mech and be done with it.

Eggman taking "Ruining the Party" as a win/goal after sonic showed up kinda just shows that he sets victory milestones/stretch goals. He knew Sonic would show up again, so he had the lowball goal of "Simply ruining the party", and would simply attempt to cause more damage or even death until Sonic showed up. He doesn't meticulously plan things, as things can go rather unpredictably at any moment. Sure he'll come up with contingencies/countermeasures for anything he'll assume/knows he'll bump into, but he prefers to react to things as they come, rather than sit there for hours or even days pre-planning (it'll still take him time to build/make whatever it is he'll plan for as well). Which actually works out better for him, as the longer he takes between plans, the more time everyone has to recover and even prepare for him.

I love and ship Tangle x Whisper or Whispangle! It's the most cutest things ever! Like clearly have a thing for each other. There was a lot of times that they were blushing a lot if you really paid attention. And I feel like they're a perfect fit for each other. Tangle bring out more of Whisper shy personality and help out working for her trauma and for Whisper making Tangle more focused on certain things. And there was sometimes that they were hugging and touching and blushing. And there was even a moment that Whisper's tail wagged a bit. I know that it aint perfect but this is certainly healthy and very lovely and wholesome. And that's why I love to ship so much just to see these two grow and become something beautiful. And there was another moment that they were holding hands and behind them was the colors of the pride flag. And I can name many more moments that they were a lovely towards each other a lot. I mean I wish they can just kiss already and be girlfriends and get married and stuff. And there's like so much to talk about that I cannot contain myself anymore longer. These who are just beautiful and sweet and really just brightens my day. And I use this as a comfort ship for myself. I haven't read any of the Sonic comics since the 90s (and admittedly it was the version exclusive to the UK), but from what I've heard, the Archie versions are possibly the best-written incarnation of most of these characters 🤔
