Forgot a small detail: In the "It Ends Now!" scene, we can see the multi-colored glow of the Chaos Emeralds reflected on Sonic's eyes! Looks like we'll get a Super Sonic Vs Super Shadow fight for the act 3 final fight!

I think the scene with sonic hugging knuckles is near the end of the film, perhaps knuckles decides to go out on his own after the events of the film and sonic is hugging goodbye

It looks like he’s offering a power bump so maybe it’s one of those scenes where the main character feels down and defeated and gets brought back up by his friends.

I can tell from this trailer that that part with volcanic eruptions happening around them is a fight between sonic and shadow for the chaos emeralds. Sonic needs the chaos emeralds to stop the eclipse cannon but shadow will be trying to stop him. Why there are eruptions around them could be a bunch of different reasons.

6:35 I think this scene might take place after Sonic, Tails and Knuckles were defeated by Shadow again in some way, maybe he got knocked out from the fall and had a nightmare about shadowand Sonic starts losing hope. But in his own warrior way Knuckles may have game him a sincere pep talk. Just a thought.

I'm really excited about this movie! I can't believe it's a month away!! Not to mention, we'll also be getting the DLC of movie Shadow and that special level from the movie. I wonder if they will do the same for Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles? It would be cool if they did.

Everyone keeps talking about Tails having a jetpack being odd. We know from the first trailer that they apparently race. While Tails is definitely fast, he can't match Sonic's top speeds, so he'd need some sort of boost if he wants to win in a race.

And it goes with his gadgeteer genius character. I don't know why people get upset over it, it's a neat detail as canonically Tails isn't as fast as Sonic even when using his helitail, and oftentimes in the games it's easy to outpace him.

Shadow should NOT have an "energy gun". He should have a 1911-it won us TWO world wars. The 45 ACP round is not to be fucked with and neither is he, it fits his character way better

Hopefully Amy Rose, Rouge the bat, and Metal Sonic are in the movie too!!! And Silver The hedgehog in the post credits scene. Hopefully Tom and Maddie will divorce in the end and Tom will fall in love with Captain Rockwell. Hopefully Sonic convinces Shadow to be friends and fight Metal Sonic together.

Unlikely, as they wouldn't keep a semi-popular female character a secret this long. Also, Rouge might be difficult as some think she's too risque' for kids, as risque' female characters have become controversial recently. (Even in "Sonic Prime" they made her dress more conservatively.)

I assume there will be no explanation, seeing as Eggman mysteriously survived worse fates in the games. Heck at the end of "Sonic Spinball" he falls into the volcano, and he survived falling from space in several games.
