Interesting how cher describes him and why he is the only person who really knew her in every way. When she moved in with him at 16 there was nothing between them He was her shelter almost a father figure at times an older brother, then they became friends, confidants and then really close friends who became attached to each other and finally lovers. Cher explains thst no one knows her like son and no one ever would. That why even after 20 years she still got weepy when talking about it. Cher never really got over son... he was her soul mate, he got her to sing he is responsible for her famous career. You don't forget a thing like that no matter where you are or who you're with. Cher loves son and sonny loves Cher ❤️ that's forever.

She or Bob Mackie should of kept all of Chers outfit , I'd pay to walk through a museum to see them all! When we were little watching these two beautiful souls , the best part was wondering what Cher was going to wear! Hats of to designer Bob Mackie he was selling his line of clothing on QVC for yrs. I don't know if he still is now but I bought a few pieces I loved his jackiets! He had made Cher a outfit it had all cherries printed on it and I loved it!! Cher must miss Sonny even though they moved on they remained close the best thing was when they came full circle in 1985 I believe or 1995 on David Letterman show and sang I got you Babe ...we were more excited for that reuion than Micheal Jacksons Thriller , and they did it pro bono aka free!! After that Sonny died and I honestly believed that Angels made that happen knowing they had to complete the life circle in order to move on in the after life ! There souls will be connected once again ! I will always love them both!! My God when Cher passes on there will be thousands beyound thousands paying there respects! Cher lasted what 6 decades and still going not to mention how many albums my Lord work keeps you alive my nana always told me ! PEACE & ❤

@@iamsimplybee They are, The Fashion Institute in NY hosted an exhibit and they were all there. A wall full of Mitzi Gaynor's TV show, his first big job, a wall of all Carol Burnett's famous characters, a wall full of all the Vegas legends he's designed for, and a room the size of a basketball court full of everything Cher, from the TV show to the Oscars to all the tours up to that point, various other costumes like Carol Burnett's Gone With The Wind Curtain Dress in special cabinets. It was breathtaking. Hopefully he'll mount another exhibit with everything since.

People involved with the 1969 movie "Chastity" that Sonny wrote & produced said that she was seeing her male lead during filming. Also, when she left Sonny in Vegas, she was with their lead guitarist Bill Hamm. They both made mistakes (who hasn't about something in life) but both have said in later years that they loved each other. As recently as a November 2018 interview, Cher said of all the men she's been with over the years, she misses & loves Sonny the most & if "he were to walk through that door right now, we would be Sonny & Cher in about 2 seconds".

There are other footage, one in a Christmas show when told by her 'mother' who put her on her knee when she / he was too big and said, "Now you are going to be a little girl.... telling Santa what you want for Christmas". The child trying to remember lines replied, "A racing car and a Planet of the Apes Tree house".

We'll never know, but that is why I would have used burnt cork to play a prank like that. Guess it depends on where your focus is.

Why is "My Cherie Amour" black music? I know who wrote it and that they were all connected with Motown, but really, there isn't anything that makes it black. The song, in it's final form was probably influenced by the Beatles song, "Michelle". Seems to me, that it is kind of an upbeat ballad with Latin undertones. It was both a pop hit and an R & B hit and, I think, charted the same on both charts.
