I loved everything about this, including the original authentic CHER! She was gorgeous without the cosmetic surgery! This duo provided much of the soundtrack of my youth along with the Beatles and Mamas and Papas, Beach Boys, Linda Ronstadt and a handful of others. Amazing! I was so lucky to be young and listening in the 60’s and 70’s. The music couldn’t be matched! Thanks for finding these gems. Love your channel! 🌺✌️

50's, 60's and 70's were the years when real good music for youth was invented, so...yes, that music can't be matched !

If you get a chance, find the biography about how they met, and what they went through to become famous. Without looking it up, I believe there was a point where they had FIVE top 20 songs on the charts at the same time, and the only others to do that were Elvis and the Beatles. Most know about Cher's solo work, but Sonny did a couple acting gigs. He was on one episode of The Love Boat where he was a one-man hard rocking band patterned loosely over KISS, and he was in Airplane 2 and bought a bomb at the airport gift shop to bring along the flight to the moon. The last time the two performed together live, was unscripted on the David Letterman show, Sonny would die in a skiing accident while he was a congressman from the state of California, Cher did a Television special just for him. Sonny's wife at the time would succeed him in congress with the same seat. That live performance is a good example of "living each day as if it is your last." All of these videos and more are easy to find.

1967... That's the legendary Carol Kaye playing bass. They couldn't get the song right and Carol came up with the bass line. The rest is history. Future congressman Sonny Bono and future academy award winner Cher. Cher is the only artist to have a number one song in six consecutive decades.

Listen closely... song never changes the chord.... it is all based on one chord, and the talent of the Wrecking Crew to give a unforgettable vamp.

Another great snapshot of the times in which they were living… fur coats and all! Cher has such a beautiful voice. She is still performing I believe. Bono went into politics. He hit a tree while skiing..killed him instantly. Life is strange..

Ever since you switch this around.... You get a really really TINY small screen here but when he had a really great BIG view of that back wall. It's unbelievable how much we have to squint even more now. I was hoping you were going to notice this at one point and change this up a little bit because that's a whole lot of background compared to the actual inch space you have on your screen people for ppl to since at these videos. NO it's not my phone.. .it's an ANDREW 11 OK? So the fact that they look like ants dancing around down there on the bottom right is not me, I'm not longer using that Samsung POS phone I had for 6 yrs. That's what I'd 1ST started watching you on over at year ago. Please change this. Ugh. #NYGenXBikerLady
