I did not know that Daryl Hall took over the club that used to be the Town Cryer. There's a fantastic performance of Pedal to the Metal by Sonny in full-electric mode from that club, which you can find on KZbin; whoever put it up titled it "the best video of him on the internet", and while I don't know if I'd go quite that far, it's a phenomenal performance with lots of up-close video of his hands at work. I've probably watched it once a week, every week, for 5 or 6 years.

Derek's good but Sonny is unique, a one of one. Derek is a natural progression from Duane, with some Indian influences added, but Sonny has completely updated and revised the genre!
