Great video. Where do you mount your GoPro 9? I tried mine on the handlebars but your view is a lot better!

Hey Michelle, thanks so much! My GoPro is mounted to a Stuntman Chest Harness or if I'm wearing a full face helmet, it'll be mounted to that.

Loving your videos as usual 😊 Camera work? Errrr.....unique 🤪 But what really caught my eye was your handlebars! It looks like they pivot on both plains! Can you tell me what they are (yes, I know they're handlebars!) Who makes them? Make and model and price would be great! Loving what you do, especially your 'wee's' & 'woo's' & giggles when you're riding 😊😘👍

Thanks for the laugh, for some reason I’ve had issues with the GoPro 9 (whether it be angle, turning on and off, settings etc...)🤪 My bars are made by Fasst Company. They’re called Flexxbars. They do not bend or fold up. The elastomers (2 per side, rebound and compression) allow the bars to flex ever so much to absorb some of the rigidness that comes with riding Offroad. I’ve used them for years racing Offroad on my quads and so when they released their MTB version I was excited to give them a try. The flex is not in the steering path so you don’t have to worry about it affecting that. The places I notice it most would be on drops or a fast downhill section with adulating terrain where my wrists and hands might take a little bit of a beating. (Shouldn’t have too much weight on/in hands) but it helps. They have a ton of good info in their website. Utah based company. www.Fasstmtb.com

@@RCRGIRL glad to make you giggle 👍 is what I do best ✅ Thanks so much for giving me the information about the bars xx I shall check them out, they look like an awesome idea! Whoever thought of them should have been given the rest of the day off, at least!!!! Keep up the good work, and keep the chuckle count high xXx PS: when I read that you raced off-road on your quads, my first thought was, how the hell can anyone race on their upper thigh leg muscles??!! (AKA, quads!!!) Don't worry, I will climb back into my toolbox, and snuggle up with the rest of the spanners!!! 😅😅😅

Looks fun. Usually ride around San Diego and riverside, but I come to Parker a few times a year. Any secret trails in Parker you know of ?
@RCRGIRL
@RCRGIRL 3 жыл бұрын
I haven't done any exploring in San Diego or Riverside, need to get my feet wet over there some time! As for Parker, not to my knowledge. I'm sure there has to be something, it's just not on Trailforks or any other app. I've often wondered the same thing...always down to ride new areas!

I did Trash can a few weeks ago, no way that's a blue trail...cheers!
@RCRGIRL
@RCRGIRL 3 жыл бұрын
I’m with you. There are sections on Trash can that are not blue. A lot of the Havasu MTBers are very skilled riders, especially some of the originals so I think that definitely plays a factor in trail designation. It’s easy to forget what and just how beginner is for a beginner. Same for intermediate etc. How’d you like the trail?

@@RCRGIRL I liked the beginning but the steep hills with that pebble like gravel was sketch:) Sonny's downhill was great and yes I pushed half of heart attack hill:) I come thought Havasu once a year and ride the trails for a couple of weeks each year. I agree the trails need some markers even with trailforks I took some wrong turns.

Yay, there are so many trails to choose from. Any of the center options of Watershed can be fun. As time permits I'll be posting up videos of each trail. Then you can pick and choose which look the best for you. Sooooo, that means you'll have to give it multiple shots 😉

Loved the evening shadows and desert views. And you gave us a little extra time to admire those flex bars at the end! Seriously, you have great videos and I'm closing the computer now and going riding... It's 39 degrees!

What kind of tire pressures would you recommend for a hardtail at Sara Park ?
@RCRGIRL
@RCRGIRL 3 жыл бұрын
🤔 I don't have much experience with a hardtail, the little bit I do have is from when I was very beginner on a specialized Hard Rock. I know pressures depend a lot of tires, tire size, weight of rider and the terrain. I like to run a little lower tire pressure here in Havasu due to the loose over hard packed terrain. If you run too high of a pressure you did to "bounce" a lot and also slide out. I like for the side wall to squish a little so that the full foot print/tread of the tire makes contact with the ground. On my bikes I run between 20-25. Sweet spot is usually around 20-22. You can always play around with it a little start with a higher pressures and let a little out and see how it feels. Just remember to keep a little hand pump or CO2 with you just case...

I want to ride Lake Havasu trails Im tired of the trails in Kingman. Do you guys do group trips? Im in BHC
@RCRGIRL
@RCRGIRL 3 жыл бұрын
Hey Luis. Havasu has plenty for you to explore. On Sundays we have our team practice/ride with the kids that we’ve opened up to the community, out at Sara Park (trail riding). Then Wednesdays we do another ride that’s more like gravel. We ride the island path and then do laps on the inner section (dirt) of the island. Great because it’s good for base miles and building up the engine but allows for all skill levels and speeds, because you can choose your pace. Etc As for actual group rides out in the bigger trails at Sara park, I’m not sure there’s an actual weekly ride or not.

How do you get there?? What's the main road??
@RCRGIRL
@RCRGIRL 9 ай бұрын
It’s on Trailforks app you can see where it begins and ends. You have to take the main trail, watershed, for a little bit. You’ll reach the sign at the top of a hill next to the road. You continue on and take a right onto Sonny’s. The end of the trail will drop you back into Watershed, you’ll go right, up the big hill known as watershed and continue back to the trailhead. Total mileage is right around 2.5-3 miles. Sonny’s (only Sonny’s trail) is probably about a mile or so long. These are all located out at Sara Park.
