I was lucky enough to see Mike Smith twice when he toured the U.S.. I agree he had a great voice but don't overlook his keyboard playing. He was enrolled in a London Musical College at the age of 13.

Love DC5 and the Zombies. Saw the Zombies on concert after my senior years and they still sound great 👍As a teenager I was raised in a very strict environment where I only enjoyed Brenton Wood because he performed during a school assembly in my high School years. So when I got married straight out of high school my husband and I played catch up with a lot of these rock and doo wop groups in our later years. ❤️🙏🏻💎👍

I love these British Invasion videos you've been doing. Let the young folks know there was more than the Beatles and the Rolling Stones. Other artist combination ideas: 1. The duos of Peter & Gordon and Chad & Jeremy. 2. A pair of gal singers, Dusty and Petula (who, I think, are well-known enough to be recognized by first name only). Or a true single name artist, Lulu, instead.

DCF were truly the wall of sound answer to Buddy Holly and Trane; always loved them and wished their sound had grown with their fantastic talent driving it; could see them rivaling Sly and Tower of Power with a West Coast type of sound;

I saw them at Carnegie Hall, The Kinks (my favs) at the Fillmore East, John Lennon at the Garden One to One concert, the Almans at the Fillmore recording their album, Tull first time in the US, Elton John after he played at the Whiskey. And Laura Nyro every time she played at NYC. Geez I'm old.
